I think I figured it out. I was just naming random guests and then I tried naming the men the male names and it worked.

I played ZT a lot, and played ZT2 a ton. Never really got into the actual management thing on ZT2, though; I just designed exhibits/zoo layouts in the sandbox mode.

...I've never been able to get my dinos to rampage. Seriously. I've gotten rid of ALL their fences, and they just kinda stay in what used to be their exhibit. All of them. Even the T-rexes and raptors.

You have to piss them off, over populate their pen, take out food, water, shelter the like.

*sobs* I want to play ZT2 But the disk is cracked and doesn't work any more. Regular ZT does. ooooh if I do get a pc laptop I can instal ZT on it sweet.

I think ZT1. ZT2 animals are pretty easy to take care of.

The lions and wild dogs in ZT1... I almost never got them for that reason.

Reinstalling ZT2 seemed to remove the weird glitchy-guest mode thing that was happening as well as other glitches and graphics issues. I'm so happy. ^.^' Zoo Tycoon 2 is my favorite. Especially the marine mania expansion pack.
