So the cast list came out and I just about shit bricks when I saw that he cast me as Dr. Berger, A.K.A the exact role I was shooting for.

I was fully expecting not to get a role, so... Yeah. That was shocking.

There's this other guy who was cast as the lead. We're in the same grade, but I've more or less bowed at his feet for the past few years. In Ordinary People, the lead and my character have a very close relationship, so I'll finally be able to work closely with this guy.

I'm rather pleased.

And with the callback things, I always try to look at it as the fewer callbacks you have, the better your chances. It means that they're not really second guessing themselves with the choice of you doing that part. See, in RL I'm a horrible pessimist when it comes to myself, but my friends around here all say when they do something I'm way to optimistic. Proud of that tho. So, just look at callbacks from now on as a good thing, no matter how many times.

And I never really pay too much mind to callbacks. They're always good because they let you show off more but other than that opportunity I don't read too much into them.

On a different note, plot twist: Fang doesn't have rehearsal tomorrow. Thus, I should be able to actually post for the first time in, oh, forever. I was originally waiting on Wolfie but then I just kept procrastinating. For sure I'll post this time though, I PROMISE.

Alright, so remember how I told ya'll about that show I was in, Ordinary People? It has been cancelled, unfortunately, due to two recent suicides in our county. The principal cancelled the show in order to be sensitive to the families of those two girls, which I respect, but at the same time, I'm a little bit PO'd about the fact that we're being censored.

Bright side is that we're doing a different show, Our Town, instead. I got cast as the Stage Manger, which is pretty damn neat. Overall, I'm a bit conflicted over the whole thing.

Also, I started reading around through a little more of this thread last night, and it has just occurred how much of an absolute asshole I am used to be.

Anyway, off to post.
