There was a bunch of false information going around and a lot of what I heard was second hand. The news report shares that only one person got hurt though, and that was the suspect who is now hospitalized for his wounds. To my knowledge, no one else was grievously involved so that's good. It's mostly just weird, since last year some guy got arrested for threatening to stage a massacre at the school library. People just seem to be getting crazier. 
It's probably better to end this on a happy note so as to not worry you all though. So, I am safe, and the rest of the students turned out safe as well.
I will continue to discover new baking recipes, learn the difficult art of ocarina making, and be a nerd in mythology class. 
Also, my cat is a total mama's girl who will use any excuse to sit on or near me, so that's immensely endearing. 
Edit: So I found this funny, but apparently there are at least two roleplays that have copy + pasted my list of rules.
At first I kept thinking it had to be some sort of coincidence, but there were far too many similarities in the wording involved. I'm not sure why, but I kind of find it amusing. x3 It's completely irrelevant, but I just really wanted to share it with someone because I'm such a weirdo. 
I do have a habit of looking at other peoples' rules because my memory is awful though I mostly stick to mine.... but now I must find these RP's!! 
It was really bad, which is why it's also really lucky that everyone turned out safely and relatively unharmed aside from whiplash. Hopefully everyone else's week is starting off much better than mine. 
My mom and I got rear-ended once I can't remember if she was dropping me off or picking me up from class but it was scary. Luckily our damage was minimum and no one got hurt but I know the feeling, it's scary! Sorry to hear that ;A;
I'm glad everyone is ok though, if a bit stunned.
Though I feel it will be awhile before all the snow melts .__.
