Yeah, I bet it was, birds get super panicky when trapped indoors. They keep desperately flying at windows. It's especially sad at malls because they're too high up for me to help, but I feel so bad for them. :<

I admittedly paid very little attention to history as well, especially when I was in middle school. All I remember about 1900's work ethics is child labour as well, and some coal mining and that big fire in a textile factory that resulted in the death of about 100 women workers who were trapped inside.


Oh yeah and Pain, I hope Eli's response doesn't seem like I'm having her ignoring him; I swear I'm not, she's just super clueless. As in, someone could confess to her and she'd think they were just complimenting her on being a good friend, not asking her out. I tried to find a way to have her acknowledge it while still keeping her in character, but just in case I failed at that, I decided to tack on this explanation.


Also folks! I have officially updated the thread to include all characters (Marth, I'll add in your new one once zhe's finished. ). I also want to add that there is a decent chance that the Witch and Mistress might be making their first appearance soon!

Also also, there was this weird moment when I was looking over the thread when Mabel's picture had been mysteriously replaced with an image of Paris Hilton. It was bizarre, but when I reloaded the page the image was back to normal.

That seems to be the case with everybody it seems. It wasn't until WWII for me as well that I suddenly started taking an interest. Funny thing, I was recently joking around about Rasputin and decided to look him up to show a friend, only to find that they have discovered that his death was actually heavily overexaggerated. The true story is not as interesting or funny though. As for the fire, I mostly remember that it was a pretty big deal at the time because it was one of the few major disasters in which the vast majority of deaths were young women (some were even children). I remember the reason they all died is because their bosses would like the exits to make sure the workers wouldn't sneak out to take breaks, and some women were so desperate to escape the fire that they jumped to their deaths instead.

Oh glob, I don't know if the world could handle Paris Hilton as the Witch. xD

Well then welcome back Sirrusly! I figured that was the case, I mostly just wanted to make sure in case my belief was wrong.

Ray would be sooo bad if Cole were to try that, since I imagine he'd spend the entire night being a tease. I'm pretty sure he just likes getting attention.

As horribly tragic as it was, I'm pretty sure I have a slight obsession with the Holocaust. That, and the Salem witch trials, but that's not WWII related. And that is true. If it weren't for such disasters to force society to shape up on the labour front, then everybody would still be turning a blind eye to such atrocities.

Haha, wow xD OH GLOB, now I'm totally thinking about having the Witch be like "I was a looker back in my day" and shoving pictures of herself at people and it'll be Paris Hilton.

Because that was me throughout middle and high school, Salem Witch Trials, Holocaust, Greek Mythology. Very true, I mean I'm sure things could still be improved, but you know, I don't think I've heard of a building fire killing literally all the people in the building, so there's that .__.
