Welcome to the ooc and discussion thread for the magi stream creature based forum role play!

While the organization may not be perfect, I ask humbly that you have some patience with me and promise me not to hold back if you have any questions.

RP thread! Don't post here until you've been accepted in OOC thread!

First off, the rules!

Spoiler

1) Characters MUST be magi or magistream creatures only! The world this takes place in is the world you see on this site!
2) Any races and creatures that exist in MagiStream are allowed to be used, so long as the traits line up right.
3) No more than 3 characters per person! Start with one only and then see if you want to continue from there.
4) You MUST post at least once a month! People inactive for too long will be added to the Deceased list.
5) You may use the code from the creature you wish to play in your Appearance section. Do not post eggs, and only post (unlinked) hatchling pictures if your character IS the hatchling!
6) Hatchlings must stay hatchlings until/unless explained as to how and why they jumped from being a hatchling to being an adult. (This is if you still wish to have the hatchling you use to be clicked by other players)
7) You're not gods, you're creatures that are just as they appear (for the most part)
8) Play characters appropriately. (That means if you're a creature without human speech, you can't speak to any humans without a spell being used first, and similar things)

Name: Inkeyu
Character: Amenlinsa
Species: Autumn Kirin
Appearance:

Basic Personality: Maybe a bit too trusting right off the bat, for a kirin, Lin makes friends easily, though her trust is also lost rather easily. She is more wild than she is tame and refuses to let people ride her unless she is in a very specific mood. Always gentile unless needing to be otherwise, she finds joy in caring for hatchlings. Especially those abandoned or lost ones, as she could relate to them well. Between her wanderlust and her constant search for foods she's never had, she rarely ever stays in the keep.

Goal/Driving Force: Find and bring back all the orphans she can find to care for, and to search for rare and new food items

Other: Lin was brought up in the wilds of Silva where she lived happily with her parents until a tragic accident happened and she was forced to flee her home. As only a hatchling, life was difficult and more than one occasion arose when she was nearly devoured by beasts of the forest. So she wandered and wandered, until her hooves brought her to the one place she could likely have ever found help; the keep. It was here that she found a kind Magi who raised her as their companion, along with many other special and amazing creatures. Once she'd grown older and strong enough to fend for herself, she was given the gift of the freedom to go wherever she wished whenever she wished. It was not long after that another Magi came around and found that she'd fallen in love with Lin's grace and beauty and spark. It took many hours of persuasion and quite a bit of coin for Lin's Magi to agree to sell her to the new Magi, but only on the condition she would be allowed the same free range she had enjoyed here. For Lin, nothing much changed, other than that there were now two Magi that she knew had her back no matter what, and would leave for months at a time, returning to say hello to both.

Appearance:Mírden

Basic Personality: One would not be wrong in describing her as arrogant or headstrong, though she prefers 'confident'. She knows her limits, but is not overly cautious. Mírden is a bit of a loner, but works well with others as long as she isn't taking orders from people who do not know what they are doing. She can come across as cold and calculating, and has trouble showing emotion. She puts the needs of others before her own, which can sometimes end up being dangerous for her.

Goal/Driving Force: One of her many motivating forces is her desire to be a protector and healer to all within the keep, and in the surrounding area.

Other: Mírden is one of the healers at the Keep. She also has quite a bit of combat and survival experience, so she kind of falls under the category of 'Search-and-Rescue' or 'Combat Medic' I suppose. You know, for those young magi that think it's a good idea to approach an angry adult Torveus Dragon(or any dangerous creature for that matter) in the wild, and consequently find themselves injured and in need of saving.

Do you mind if I give a name to the guard/search-and-rescue corps at the Keep? I'm unaware of any existing names in Magistream lore, but I'm thinking of calling them either Wardens or Sentinels.

I believe we need some more players. We're looking for some more magi and maybe the big creature that broke the tree in the clearing we're in. Otherwise I'm not entirely sure how to move forward and still make it interesting. I was hoping there'd be a bit more interest in this rp by now. xP
