Re: Phantoms in the Clock Tower OoC Thread
Yup, those would be the strings. Just make sure the second string is tied before untying the first, or else Will might be in trouble.

I shouldn't laugh, but pretty much. There'd be no guarantee that they'd be able to reawaken Will, as he might awaken as an entirely different Golem altogether. If by some lucky chance they do reawaken Will, he would be emotionless again, without his memories, and with zero upgrades.Kaida1234 wrote:DEATH TO WILL

Uhm, I has question....
As to housing yet again. Do the individual guilds provide rooms for guild members?

Re: Phantoms in the Clock Tower OoC Thread
I'd say yes, except only Ethereal Casters has actual rooms to provide for people. Ancient Grace and Brotherhood of the Shadows may be large structures, but they don't exactly have any beds or rooms to give. So no, only Ethereal Casters has rooms. If anyone wanted to use a different hotel, that's allowed too so long as it still follows the same costs as the Ethereal Casters (2000 for middle class one bed, 3000 for middle class two bed, etc). Everyone is free to choose whatever arrangement you want for the free week, just remember to raise funds for whatever arrangement you want for your characters for next week.

Alrighty, no worries. I thought it was more so that direction, I just wasn't 100% sure. Thank you for explaining that dearest!

Using magic consumes the souls?
Re: Phantoms in the Clock Tower OoC Thread
I think it does because you have to keep getting more and more souls, as well as stronger souls, to be able to fuel the more powerful spells. ....
Re: Phantoms in the Clock Tower OoC Thread
Yup, it does. I wanted to try to limit the use of magic so that it isn't being used all willy-nilly everywhere. That and I felt like saying "using too many spells is dangerous" would be too arbitrary of a system. "Soul" is a bit inaccurate as well, since a ghost may at time provide enough energy to be counted as three "souls" despite having only been one soul, but souls just felt like the most appropriate term of measurement. That being said, I'll be sure to steadily increase the number of incorporeal enemies in due time so that eventually everyone will have a heavily decent supply of energy to use. For now though, since the spells available are rather weak and thus won't be much help yet, most enemies will be corporeal beings. So while spells might be a bit restricted right now, that will eventually change. Hopefully that makes sense. If after some testing the whole soul thing proves to be too difficult though, then I'll throw the whole system out.Leorobin wrote:Using magic consumes the souls?
