As long as it's curved, EL tape will be okay. It just cant do straight 90 degree angles without cracking over time and ruining the tape.
Have you look into using EVA foam? It's a fancy name for the foam floormats people use in garages as well as yoga mats. Look into using that because a lot of people use it for props. It's easy to cut with a box cutter and you can sand the edges smooth

Re: Cosplayers Guild
Ah yes, I studied up on EVA foam when I was making armor. I was too cheap and just used thick craft foam, and it worked pretty well for my purposes.
I feel like for this project I need to splurge on some worbla--I begged a little scrap off my friend and it was AMAZING, but only lasted me for one tiny badge thing.

Worbla is good but also expensive. EVA foam can be found anywhere. Hell you can usually get it at Sears, Dollar Store, hardware stores for under $10 for a pack of 4-6 mats. These are the thicker floor mats, but they work just as well.
This is my friend Jason (aka Aquafail). He used EVA floor mats to create the neckpiece for his Aquaman cosplay.

whoa that looks really great, I'll definitely keep EVA foam in mind for any future projects involving armor!

Re: Cosplayers Guild
Honestly, wigs are my major downfall. The only advice I can give is to google the character and see if there are any tutorials or maybe even one for sale already. I know it has something to do with sewing in wefts of extra wig hair, but I've never actually done it.
Re: Cosplayers Guild
unfortunately the game has only been released in Japan so i doubt anyone has made a wig like that
I feel kinda bad that I'm always asking you questions Is there anything I could help with?

Re: Cosplayers Guild
Do sewing pattern's sizes tend to be way different from normal clothes sizes?
Because while I'm a 0-1 normally, I have to wear a 10 according to this pattern?

Re: Cosplayers Guild
Patterns are based on actual measurements of your body. Clothes... are not. That's why I can wear anything from a M to an XL in shirts/dresses and from a 16 to a 20 in jeans. While a 0-1 should be the same across the board, it's not due to the measurements being done.
Patterns, like I said, are actual measurements. They give you the inches for bust, waist, hips and it's almost exact. There's also no such thing as a 0 in pattern measurements. The lowest they go, that I've seen, is a 6.

We kinda died lol that's okay, just posting this to show off my work. This costume was done in 2 weeks, I started it on... Sept 30th or so. I have a few minor things to fix that broke when fixing other parts, but all in all she's good to go.
