Name: Cole Jackson
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance:Cole is roughly 5'8/5'9 though tends to look a little taller due to being rather he is rather fit, and while he doesn’t look it,;usually looking a lot slimmer than he is, he is quite well toned from spending so much time at the beach. His skin is rather tanned from being outside a lot. He has sharp, angular features, although the entire right side of his face is covered by a shock of electric blue hair, this color can change frequently, or infrequently, but he is currently stuck on the bright blue. Only his bangs are died, leaving the rest of his hair is its natural black color. His hair is about chin length, though it’s shorter in the back then the front. His left eye is a bright blue, his right eye is a milky-greyish color and always hidden behind his hair.
He wears skinny jeans and a variety of tee-shirts, from solid colors to shirts with characters, or animals on them (he has a preference for pandas). He doesn't wear much, if anything, in the way of jewelry, he does wear a simple silver band on his right ring finger, and he does have a necklace made of brown leather, a shark tooth carved from wood dangling from it, and a small wooden circle with a sea-turtle painted in white on it as well (both charms on the same chain).
He also has a strange fascination with bright, colorful socks and has an entire collection of socks, rainbows, stripes, polka dots, and every combination of the three, all different colors and styles, he has a strange preference for socks with individual toes. Not that people are usually able to see them. He tends to wear black boots, sometimes he wears sneakers though not often, and doesn't wear sandals at all, despite spending much of his time at the beach.
He has two and a half tattoos t the moment, one is a small, purple heart outlined in black on the left side of his hip that he got when he was 16 to hide a birthmark he found incredibly embarrassing,. The second is that of a black panther clawing its way up the right side of his back, head resting on his shoulder blade, tip of the tail resting on his mid back. The third/half tattoo is that of a peacock on in his ribcage/side, the tail feathers resting on his hip and the head reaching just under his chest. It is currently only partially colored.
Personality: Cole is a very happy-go lucky person. He loves being around people, and is incredibly fond of parties (and drinking). He can be a bit reserved when he first meets someone, however it doesn't take very long for him to grow easy around people. He can be a little clingy, often holding onto friends' arms, surprising friends with hugs, though he doesn't do this if someone is uncomfortable with it. He's generally very laid back and easygoing, he doesn't get upset very easily, he always has a genuine smile on his face. He doesn't hide any dark feelings and is generally very honest with people.
He does love teasing people, friends and lovers alike. He's always honest in the end when a question is asked even if it can take awhile to get an answer from him. He’s a total flirt with both guys and girls.
He has had only two long term relationships, both ending rather unhappily for him. Cole loves parties, and tends to be the first to drink and to get drunk, and has on occasion resorted to alcohol when seriously upset.
History: Cole had a very normal life growing up. When born, Cole had a serious infection in one of his eyes, leading to him to become partially blind in his right eye (he can see basic shapes and colors, but can't make out details with it). When he was four his mother and father divorced, it wasn't a particularly friendly divorce, and due to some legal issues Cole's father gained custody, and Cole really hasn't seen or spoken to his mother since he was young (though he does get birthday cards and a present every couple of years from her).
As far as relationships go, his first relationship only lasted three months. At fourteen Cole had been asked out by Jason, a senior at his school and the older brother of Jake, their family had been friends with Cole and his dad for years (and Cole had a bit of a crush on Jason). It started out really well, but Cole very much wanted to let their families know they were dating, and Jason was not willing to be as open with their relationship as Cole was. This, and the fact that both boys were trying to be rather controlling, and generally quite immature, about the relationship led to quite a few shouting matches, and at least one physical fight resulting in quite a few bruises on both of their faces, they broke up with each other (or at least Cole refuses to admit that he was not the one who decided to end things), neither of their families knowing that they had gone out all.
The second was quite a bit more serious, having lasted three years, and being close friends for two years before. They met in their senior year in high school and got along really well, having a lot of the same interests and similar personalities. His name Kenneth (went by K) and Cole became instant friends, and had often wondered how they managed to not find each other prior to senior year. As the two of them grew closer they naturally developed feelings for each other, K had been the one to ask Cole out first, or more accurately, after spending the day at the movies with their friend, kissed Cole as they separated for the night. This lead to a three year long relationship that lead to the two lovers living together. Cole had very much been in love with K, and was quite willing to spend his entire life with him. They had been living together for a little over two years when Cole, getting home early from work, discovered K kn bed with their friend Carla, someone Cole had known since middle school, and who got along well with K. This time Cole took the initiative in breaking things off, but was absolutely heartbroken about losing his best friend and the love of his life. He drank and ate lots of ice cream, and is much better for it afterwards. It has been a little less than a year since he broke up with K, and is, for the most part, completely over it.
Between dating Jason and K, Cole was often seen going out with many different people, it wasn’t strange to see Cole with a new guy every week or so, he did seem to have a bit of a reputation in high school, but he has mellowed out quite a lot, and doesn’t go out as often.

Other: He is a photographer, and works for a local photography studio that does school pictures, weddings, and family portraits.

Name: Blaine Alexander Denton
Age: 17
Sex/Gender: Male
Appearance: Blaine stands at about 5'6. He has a rather lithe frame and platinum blonde hair that he tends to style in a way that leaves the back spiked up, and the front framing his face, his hair when down reaches his chin. His eyes are bright and blue and his skin is rather pale. He does own a pair of reading glasses that tend to change how his face looks quite a lot.
He tends to wear colorful shirts that fit loosely on his frame, jeans of various kinds, and for shoes- sneakers or flip-flops. He has a large array of sweaters and hoodies. Every hoodie he owns is decorated like that of an animal. His favorite tends to be a green hoodie that has soft spikes going down the back, two “ear” spikes on the hood, and a lighter green belly on the front., looking much like a chameleon, however he does have several others that he wears. He has a handful of piercings including an ear lobe piercing in each ear, and two helix piercings in his left. He also has a tendency to paint his nails in various colors, often two or three different colors any given moment.
Personality: Blaine is a rather cynical young man. He often beats himself up over the tiniest things, and has a tendency to overthink everything he does. He will agonize over it until he either convinces himself that whatever it was wasn’t as big of a deal as he thought or, more likely, it starts to physically bother him. He has given himself headaches for over thinking things, and has on occasion made himself nauseous.
He's incredibly insecure, and incredibly private. He will avoid answering personal questions intelligently, and will rarely ask others about themselves for fear of the question being redirected to him. His answers tend to be vague. He can get easily flustered and tends to freeze up when sincerely complimented. He also doesn’t quite trust others, and is often afraid to get too close to people.
Despite what he goes through internally, none of this is remotely visible to other, and anyone who knows him would claim that Blaine is quite the life of the party. He acts, and is, incredibly friendly. He always has a smile on his face and tends to be quite affectionate with others. He has a love of sweets and has no qualms with giving them to anyone who asks. He truly loves people, but often feels like an outsider despite how he acts. He tends to come off as very shallow, and likes to focus on the superficial things. He likes to play up the ‘dumb blonde’ stereotype, and often acts much less intelligent than he is. Despite this he is an honors student, though he does a very good job of hiding this fact. He tends to be pretty good in science and math. As stated though, he really doesn't act very smart and actually lies about how he does in class.
Blaine likes to focus on pretty things and pretty people, mostly as a way to occupy his mind. He doesn’t, outwardly, show any care for subjects that must be discussed and will always pay more attention to a person’s appearance, rather than their personality, all to keep his mind occupied from whatever might be worrying him.
He loves watching movies, and absolutely hates being alone, though he hates being alone with another person even more. Blaine is much more comfortable in larger groups, and often surrounds himself with easy-going, fun-loving people. He can be easily intimidated though again, his inward emotions rarely surface on his face, keeping a friendly smile, and keeping up a carefree facade.
He has a few nervous ticks, such as chewing on the inside of his lip, making flicking motions with his ring finger and thumb, and tapping his fingers on any kind of flat surface, be it his thigh, a table, a wall, or almost anything he can rest his hands on. These are usually the only signs of him being uncomfortable or upset, keeping most of his pent up insecurities buried deep.
History: Having grown up with both parents and a sister four years his senior, Blaine was very much coddled as a child. He was given everything he ever wanted, when he wanted it. His family was always well off, both of his parents were doctors, his mother a heart surgeon and his father a veterinarian. He was very much loved by his family, almost completely spoiled by them.
All of this changed when he was thirteen. For quite awhile Blaine had been sure that he was gay. He had always found his male classmates more attractive than his female ones, and after spending a lot of time contemplating, and researching, came to the conclusion that he was. He had told his parents without any question, expecting them to be as kind and supportive as they had always been. They weren’t. His parents had always been rather old fashioned, but Blaine had never realized how much so, even his beloved sister seemed to be ashamed of Blaine’s confession. He was given two options, stop being “an abomination”, or leave. Blaine was gone that night with as much of his belongings he could carry and not a word from his family.
He had no money, and no idea of where to go. Both of his parents were only children but Blaine had managed to get into contact with his mother’s parents who were quite distant from their daughter. They don’t speak to their daughter, disagreements and distance lead to estrangement. Blaine lucked out and found their address. He came to their door with a large duffel bag and a book bag slung over his shoulder, practically begging them to stay their. They complied, surprisingly glad to meet their grandson for the first time since he was a toddler.
His grandparents were surprisingly happy to have him stay with them, and didn’t even ask to speak with his parents. Blaine has been incredibly grateful to them. He is still in high school, eleventh grade. His grandparents do not know he is gay, and he has no intention of tell them. He also won’t admit to it if asked, afraid of the reactions of those around him.

Name: Dante Edward Floyd
Age: 20
Sex/Gender:
Appearance: Dante is a rather tall, lanky man. He's about 6'3. He has a slightly angled jaw. His eyes are a grey-blue. He has blonde that hangs down to just past his chin. His hair seems to be unable to properly be cleaned, always appearing rather greasy and stringy even if he’s washed it. He has a few small silver hoops in his ears, three in each. He also has a slight five o'clock shadow.
Dante is, as said, rather tall. He is rail thin, though it is hard to see over the layers of clothes he wears. He could easily pass for being sick. He is also covered in needle scars, a lot of them appear on his arms, legs, and thighs. He also has a few larger scars on his chest that he doesn’t quite know where he got them from.
He has a preference for tee-shirts and flannels, ripped jeans and generally rather grungy looking clothes. He wears converse sneakers that vary in forms of tattered-ness. He has a fondness for over-large sweaters or denim jackets. He has a few finger-less gloves he wears, as well as arm warmers. His jeans occasionally have patches on them, and he generally doesn't seem to care very much about his appearance, though he's incredibly careful to keep his arms and legs covered.
Personality: Dante is in his current life, a rather laid back individual. He doesn’t easily get worked up over things, and tends to go with the flow. He tends to come off as rather lazy since he seems to have an actual problem with getting up to do anything. He is very mellow, and doesn’t seem to have much of a mean streak, generally pretty friendly, though that doesn’t mean there aren’t people he doesn’t like or get along with.
Dante does have the issue of being rather fearful. He is absolutely terrified of the dark and has several night lights and lamps he keeps on to help him sleep. He is also terrified of being alone, he hates the silence that comes with no one being around. If he is alone he is usually listening to music, or watching television because he can’t stand the silence.
Dante is also rather slow when it comes to things. He doesn’t articulate well, and gets easily frustrated when he can’t get his meanings across. He can be a bit paranoid, and often finds himself getting defensive when he feels someone is making fun of him. He tends to use simple vocabulary and vague expressions when trying to explain something.
History: Dante was the son of an alcoholic father and a workaholic mother. It was an odd home situation, there was quite a lot of fighting but his parents seemed to love each other despite it all. Even to this day, Dante couldn't explain their situation. He was quite sure his mother cheated on his father, and his father definitely brought women to their home while his mother was working, and they often fought about the cheating. Honestly Dante was quite surprised they never divorced. Despite their insanity, however, his parents were very loving to their son.
At thirteen Dante was alone with his father, the two of them were watching a movie, when his father had lit up a cigarette and then rather absent-mindedly offered Dante one. The young boy didn’t think much of it and took it without hesitation, his mother was furious when she got back, but by then Dante was hooked.
By fourteen his father died of liver problems, having not gone to the doctor none of them had an idea that he was sick. This greatly impacted Dante’s life, the boy completely spun out of control. In spite of the fact that his mother worked hard to continue to provide for Dante and give him as much love and counseling as possible, Dante wouldn’t have it.
In school he had begun hanging out with pretty bad kids, kids who fought, did drugs, drank, day in and day out. Dante easily got swept up in the life. By fifteen he had dropped out of school and ran away, living in an abandoned house with some of his friends. During his time here he did every drug that crossed his path, anything to get out of his own head which became more and more terrifying the more he used. Dante did anything to get those drugs, selling drugs he didn’t use, selling himself, whatever it took.
Dante and his friends frequented parties, providing ‘party favors’, and alcohol. He had no intention of giving any of this up until one of his best friends overdosed one night. He had started seizing up, Dante, not knowing what to do, and not wanting to get in trouble himself, sat there and watched his friend die.
At first, Dante’s response was to flush out the memories with more drugs, but it only made the nightmares Dante was having worse. One day he found himself at the steps of a hospital, and from there got help, going into rehab. By now Dante was almost nineteen. He had a lot of trouble trying to get clean, completing his rehabilitation about five months ago. He is still working hard to overcome his addiction.
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Relationships: Father to Edelmira Alemda’s son though he doesn’t know this.

Name: Alice-May ‘Alice’ Johanson
Age: 18
Sex/Gender: Female
Appearance: Alice is a small girl, just under 5'4 and maybe 100 lbs (though, aside from the tired look on her face, she looks healthy). She is extremely pale in stark contrast with her black hair (cut short and choppily, clearly done by herself with little care for how it looks) and black eyes. In fact, most of her wardrobe consists of black clothing with very little color. She has a preference for black jeans (pants or shorts, depending on the weather), black or dark grey tank tops. She wears thick black boots, or black converse for shoes, and a black hooded jacket, always, regardless of the weather. The only bit of color she ever has is a thin red ribbon tied in a bow to a strand of hair on the right side of her head, the ends dangle just below her hairline.
As stated before she is very small, she has a slim figure, a small, rounded face and almond-shaped black eyes. Her eyes appear to be more rounded than they are though due to dark purple rings caused by lack of sleep. Her fingers are relatively long and thin, though her nails are ragged, torn and incredibly short due to a nail biting/picking habit, occasionally her nails grow out, but more often than not they're only chewed down to the quick. She also has a large burn, covering her left arm, shoulder, and part of her side.
Personality: Alice is quiet and a loner. She doesn't normally enjoy the company of others. If someone brings her into a conversation she will engage, though her answers are typically short, no more than a few words.
She sees no need for any kind of relationship, or rather, doesn’t feel comfortable about the idea of relationships. She doesn’t want to go through the work of building a relationship, only to have it crash and burn. This doesn’t mean she’s never had a relationship, but they aren’t particularly intimate, and often broken off due to Alice’s inability to emote. She is actually surprisingly shy, and actually gets nervous around those she doesn’t recognize or know. This isn’t to say Alice would go around talking to anyone, she really does tend to stay to herself, and only indulges in conversations with others if they approach her.
She does want to like people, but not only has problems trusting others, but seems to be completely unable to properly show emotions. Very few things make her show any sort of outward expression. She can actually be quite friendly, or at least nice to anyone who approaches her, her inability to show emotions make her look aloof and even rather mean.
Alice has a strange love of high places, and enjoys curling up in trees to read or nap. She also has a strange love of koala bears.
History: Alice, for the first eight years of her life, had a completely normal life. She lived in a nice little house (yellow, at her mother's request) with loving parents Marianne and Zachary. The neighborhood she grew up in was nice, a small suburban area, though the neighborhood nearby was far from friendly. A month into her eighth birthday, while walking home from work through this particular neighborhood, Alice's father was shot and killed. Having always been very close to her father, his death devastated her. From the start Alice had always been rather shy and quiet, but she was so close to her father that his death caused her to withdraw completely. For weeks after his death she refused to speak, she also never cried, not when she found out he died, not at his funeral, she just completely shut down.
Alice's mother didn't take her husband's death much better either, they had been soul mates, destined to be together, she had known that when she first laid eyes on him, and when she went to Pixie Charm and, thanks to the Rose Glass, learned that she and her husband were in fact meant to be. His death caused her to drink, heavily. She tolerated young Alice's behavior for a while before she finally snapped one day.
It had been a month after the death of Zach's death, Alice was still not talking, and had only just started eating without being forced. Marianne had been asking Alice for over an hour to clean her room, not a word or sound left Alice and she didn't move from her spot on the couch, watching cartoons as she always did. Tired of her daughter's silence the woman finally snapped, grabbing Alice by the arm hard enough to bruise, nails digging into the young girl's skin, she dragged Alice to her room, locking the door until Alice cleaned it. It was the first of many incidents that turned Alice farther and farther away from her mother.
As Alice got older, her mother drank more and more. Most of the abuse Alice suffered came from slurred insults and the occasional smack across the face, something Alice had little trouble dealing with since she spent most of her time locked in her room or out in the park nearby, however by the time Alice was thirteen her mother simply became neglectful, not bothering with her daughter, Alice became rather self reliant, shopping, cooking, and cleaning for the two of them. And things went on, relatively peacefully for the next two years.
One night Alice, fifteen, woke to the smell of smoke and the sound of fire alarms ringing in her ears. She rushed out of her room, smoke everywhere. She burned her arm while trying to find her mother, who had been drunk and passed out by the kitchen table. She managed to wake the woman up and the two of them escaped, Alice’s mother had a few burns from the fire, and Alice’s left arm, and parts of her side were burned.
After calling the fire department and an ambulance, Alice spent the night in the hospital before moving into a small hotel nearby, renting out a room and working various odd jobs around the hotel to pay for it, mostly working at the front desk as a concierge. She's been living there since, with no contact with her mother. She hasn't spoken to her for the past three years, and plans on never speaking to her again. She remains at the hotel, and still works there, during the week in the summer and weekends during school. The owners of the hotel are almost like family, and Alice is really quite fond of them.
