Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
Is the Gate of Truth the sort from Brotherhood or the first series?
Either way, could I have an alchemist that does not use a circle? If not, that's fine too.
I plan on making a soldier for the investigation party.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
HECK.
Salah made me remember that I forgot to list a lot of areas. I'll be fixing that soon and adding him to the front.
The Gate of Truth is probably more similar to Brotherhood's but there are also a few descriptions/definitions that I'll be fixing when I get home. And yes sure, you can have an alchemist without a circle! Just watch out for OP.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
Oh yah, just came to mention I put up Salah's bio. I really got carried away with the length.......... sorry.
Cool. Salah was originally the one I had in mind for being the non-circle alchemist. The thought was that in the Lab accident, it was caused by their attempt to create a Philosopher's Stone, and Salah was one of those used in the sacrificial part of it, but something backfired and the building exploded. So Salah saw the gate and lost his limbs, but was sent back before his head and body disappeared. However, he does not know that he has alchemy. He knows what it is, and there have been some incidents, but he does not know it is him doing alchemy without circles.
Just wanted to run that by you... kind of an out of control alchemist who has to learn about it after getting the skill (a little backwards from the regular alchemist people learning and then transmuting dead and then getting the skill).

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
That was the original thought if you are alright with it.
He has the skill of alchemy, but it's more like an instinct that he does on reflex RARELY. He was never trained to do alchemy, never studied it really, etc. So he does very basic, chaotic forms of it, such as he might be fighting someone and accidentally make the ground under the opponent turn from rock to sand. It's not that he wanted to, its just that the thought "I can do this" comes to mind as an instinct from what he gained from the Gate.
So basically he does alchemy by instinct rather than by actual study as how most alchemists do it? I'm doing horribly at explaining this
Basically where alchemists are all "Aha! Make earth into sand by doing this principle of this law with these compounds, whoop dee doo!" whereas Salah is "MAKE SAND!" and boom, there's sand.
Or perhaps it would just be easier to make a regular alchemist person than combining it with Salah.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
Maybe I should make a Ishval who has been disowned by the whole of Ishavl and has decided to become an alchemist?
I haven't watched any FMA in awhile so I'm a little slow also.
