"It's okay and I forgive you," Raven said in reply to Aiden's apology before resting her head on his shoulder. "It would've happened sooner or later that we meet with the council since we do that every few years or so and I thought now would be a good time to do that as well as the four of us spending more time with each other outside of our now busy lives and away from the kids."
Tami nodded when she heard what Kieran suggested about when the dinner date should be before walking over to be over to the side of where they were, taking out her cell, and calling the restaurant. Once she told them their updated plans, she hung up, and walked back over to where her mate, Aiden, and Raven were.

Sabrina smiled back at Kieran and was still smiling when her parents apologized to each other to make up. "If that's everything I'm going to go back over to where Blaire, Liam and Aisling are," she said after a few minutes before doing what she said she was going to do.
"Well you can ask her if she'd like to have dinner with you later and then maybe get a few of her favorite flowers to put in a cup of water to have sitting between the two of you. Her favorite flowers are cosmos," Ash said in reply just as Sabrina came back and joined them.
"What are you guys talking about over here?" Sabrina asked curiously as she looked at her brother then Ash and then lastly Liam before looking at her friend again.
"You'll find out later," Ash said before Sabrina nodded but still had a curious expression on her face as she sat down on the log next to her.

"Yes of course or if I wake up later and go jogging in the woods and you see me do that you can join me in that too if you wish," Zoe said in reply before softly kissing Brazen on the cheek and then going into her hut afterward. After she closed the door, she stood there for a few extra minutes and then went upstairs to get ready for her nap that would help her get better.

Samantha continued to run a bit longer until she realized that Ryan wasn't going after her and attempting to tag Naomi instead so she headed back over to where she had left them and ran around that area as Naomi ran away from Ryan.

Aiden nodded, "You know, after this, we may want to consider setting aside some time JUST for ourselves. You know - you, me, and a sandy beach?" He grinned and wrapped his arm around Raven's waist.

Kieran turned as Tami joined them. "Changed the reservation?"

Liam listened to what Ash said, taking mental notes. When Sabrina approached, his gut turned into a pit of snakes.
When she asked what they were talking about, he was sure he probably turned three different shades of red. Thank goodness Ash handled it.
"Uh, well, I'll see you all later." With that, he turned and hurried off to his hut. He found a shirt and slipped it on, then he flopped into a chair and started to think about everything they'd talked about.

Blaire snorted when Liam left.
What a chicken. He thought to himself.
"So, what were the folks doing, Sabrina?" He asked.

Brazen smiled and nodded, "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea."

Ryan turned as Samantha darted his direction. He skidded, then gripped the ground with his claws, and bolted after her.

"Mm yes that does sound really good. Maybe in a few weeks or so we could do that or maybe even next week. I'm not worried about our own kids since they're way old enough to stay home by themselves and they can also take care of themselves," Raven said in reply before looking up at him. "What do you think about that? Think that might be doable?"

"Yep so what would you like to do now before dinner later and before the kids get back from playing?" Tami asked in reply to his statement as she looked up at him as well.

Sabrina just watched as Liam left to go to his house and wondered why he left as abruptly as he did. She then nodded in reply to what he had said before he left to head to his house. She then had her attention go to Blaire when he asked what he did. "Oh just plans of meeting with the council at a local restaurant in the next town over and were wondering if I could babysit the twins while Aunt Tami and Uncle Kieran are at the meeting. I, of course, accepted the offer," she said in reply to the question before having her attention go towards Liam's house and then their's. "I'm going to go rest for a bit at our hut since I was up really early this morning to go on patrol with the girls. Will you wake me up later, Ash? Okay thanks." She asked this question and said this last statement to Ash and the latter nodded which was the cause of the statement. She then got up and went to their hut, going up to her room after closing the door to it shortly afterward. She then laid down in her bed to take a small nap.

Ash also watched as Liam went to his house before having her attention go back to Sabrina when she heard what she said and asked. She nodded and then watched as she walked towards her, Brazen, and Blaire's hut to take a small nap before having her attention turn to be on Blaire. "What would you like to do now?" she asked him curiously.

Zoe went back downstairs and heard what Brazen said before opening the door again. "Sounds like a date," she said before kissing him again but softly on the lips this time. "Good night," she said in reply with a smile before going back inside her house again and going back upstairs to her room where she went straight to sleep after unmaking her bed.

Samantha quickly noticed when Ryan turned from going after Naomi to instead going after her and tried to run as fast as she could away from him.

Aiden nodded with a smile. "Yeah. I think that is totally doable." He said.

Kieran grinned at Tami, "Oh, I could think of a few things to do, but none of them appropriate OR productive." He sighed "I was actually going to see what the autopsy results were on that rogue the kids killed and brought back earlier." He shrugged "Not the funnest thing, but necessary."

Blaire listen to his sister, wrinkling his nose when she mentioned babysitting. "Ooooh boy. I hope you didn't sign me and Brazen up for babysitting duty too."

Heat rushed through Brazen and his mind began to spin when she kissed him. He grinned and watched her until she closed the door behind her, then he turned and slowly walked back to where the others were, unable to wipe the grin from his face.

Ryan chased after Naomi for a little while until Rick bolted across his path. The two pups collided and rolled head-over-heals, landing in a heap on top of each other.
"Owie!" Rick untangled himself from Ryan, then shook himself.
Ryan got up, then yelped when he felt a sharp pain in his right front paw. He fell down and curled his throbbing paw in close.
"It hurts." He sniffled, trying not to cry.

((sorry for not posting but I had family home for Christmas and then work got busy after that and I forgot that I had to post in both here and adventures of shadow and storm. forgive me? ))

"Okay. Which option do you like better, though: next week or a couple of weeks from now?" Raven said and asked in reply to what Aiden said with her own smile on her face.

"I don't mind if we do something that's both inappropriate and unproductive. We can do what you were thinking after we get back from checking the autopsy on the rogue wolf if you'd like," Tami said in reply to everything that Kieran said as she continued to look into his eyes from her shorter vantage point.

"Nope I didn't. Liam's going to help me but I'll tell him that later. You guys are free to do whatever you want to," Sabrina said in reply to what Blaire said before looking up to see Brazen coming towards them with a grin on his face. "Someone looks happy," she said to their other brother as Ash also looked in his direction. They both wondered if Zoe kissed him and that's why he looked happy but they wouldn't know for sure until he actually told them or if he told them.

Samantha and Naomi continued to run from Ryan until they heard him collide with Rick. They both turned at that time and just in time for them to see him curl up in a small ball. Samantha approached him before shifting back into her human form, taking his paw gently in her hands, and then closing her eyes shortly afterward to heal it. Once it was healed, she let go and then backed up to give him some room.

((maybe both Sam and Rick can have a little bit of Tami's healing power while Sam can also be like Kieran and knowing how to use the spear as a weapon))

((You are forgiven, especially since I haven't done much better. Going through my grandmother's stuff has been a NIGHTMARE, and then I've finally gotten my 2nd book off to the editor (YAY!) and have been working on that off and on. Excuses, excuses, excuses...))

Aiden grinned. "Well, next week sounds better to me. Do we have anything important and boring going on then?"

Kieran grinned sheepishly at Tami, his eyes lighting up. "Hmm... that sounds like a good idea. We'd better get that autopsy report over and one with, then, before you change your mind, huh?" He bent down and gave her a peck on the lips.

Blaire wrinkled his nose in disgust at his brother's goofy grin. "Oh my gods. Did Zoe kiss you? She did. She totally kissed you."
Brazen snapped out of it and looked at his brother, frowning. "What makes you say that?"
Blaire rolled his eyes. "You were grinning like a raccoon with an open honey jar." He looked at Sabrina "Wasn't he?"

Ryan blinked the water from his eyes and smelled his paw after Samantha finished holding it.
"It... it doesn't hurt anymore." He said. He got to his feet and bounced lightly on them, then he looked at Sam in wide-eyed surprise. "How'd you do that?"

Rick shifted into his human form and flopped onto the ground, going cross legged. "Psh! We can both do it. So can our mommy. No big deal. Now, let's play another game!"

((okay . I'm sorry to hear about your grandma and that going through her stuff has made you even more busy but the news about getting your second book to your editor also makes me happy since I bet that makes you relieved and less busy and worried about getting it done . work has been really busy for me these last few months but hopefully come the end of April, I'll be able to take a small vacation and break from it all. okay about Sam and Rick ))

"Okay and I don't think so but we may want to check with our bosses first to be absolutely certain," Raven said in reply to both Aiden's statement as well as his question before looking from him towards Tami and Kieran. They were technically their bosses since they were the alphas of their pack and she and Aiden were betas.

"Alright then let's go," Tami said in reply before kissing Kieran back but instead of a peck she made it be an actual kiss and be for a bit longer before pulling back afterward. She then turned to head towards the healer's hut when she noticed Raven looking in their direction. "I think before we go to the healer's hut we may want to talk to Aiden and Raven first. I think they want to talk or ask us about something," she said to her mate as she had her attention go back to being on him instead of their betas and family.

Sabrina just rolled her eyes at her and Blaire's brother's response to what the former said before she was asked to confirm his metaphor. "Yes he was exactly like that only goofier," she said in agreement with a nod while Aisling nodded as well.
Aisling listened to the sibling's conversation, nodding in agreement with her friend when Sabrina was done talking and then couldn't help but feel a bit jealous at her other friend's action with Brazen. She didn't say anything about it and tried to keep the feeling to herself as well as keep it from showing on her face.

Samantha also shrugged a bit in reply to Ryan's question and after Rick was done saying what he did she said verbally in reply, "We were born with it and it's just a special ability that we share with our mom who's one of the pack's healers as well as one of the leaders for it." She then heard what Rick said after she was done talking and asked with a small tilt to her head and towards the side, "What other game should we play?"

After getting the okay from Tami and Kieran about going on their beach vacation next week, Raven smiled happily before turning her attention back to being on Aiden. “What should we do now?” she asked him curiously with her head tilted a bit to the side with a curious expression on her face.

Tami went with Kieran to where the rogue, now a pile of ashes, near where the pyre was and waiting for him to tell her what the results were. She wasn’t very good with understanding all that medical jargon stuff so she waited for him to translate it for her.

A bit later that evening before Sabrina was to meet Liam for their dinner date, Aisling had told her about it, she went for what she hoped would be a not very long walk in the woods. She wanted to think about a few more things regarding them as well as get her thoughts together more before the date. She continued to go a bit further until she noticed that it was getting darker. She cursed to herself before turning around and heading back towards camp with a very brisk jog, being approached by three werecats soon after. She tried to go around them but they surrounded her and attacked. She shifted before any injury came to her and let out a loud howl for help, hoping that her brothers and Liam would hear her and come to her aid. She got a few good blows in, having a few minor scratches at this point before receiving a critical injury, a very deep scratch, to the right side of her throat down to her wrist. She yelped before being flung against a nearby tree which caused her to have another injury on her back for it had hit the trunk of the tree pretty hard. She slid down to the ground while still in her wolf form before shifting back to her human one when the pain of both injuries was too great to focus on the former form. Her vision became a bit blurry as her opponents started to get closer to her in order to attempt to finish her off.

Aisling had stayed with Blaire for a bit longer after the exchange with Brazen and Brina before she left to head to her hut but gave the former (Blaire) a small kiss on the cheek before she did so. She had also spoken to the latter (Sabrina) about the date with Liam before she went back home. She was currently in her hut and room, reading when she heard the howl. She quickly put her bookmark in her book to mark where she had left off before opening her window, jumping out of it, and running towards the woods as fast as she could after shifting to her wolf form.

Zoe woke up a bit later from her evening nap, sitting up and stretching a bit afterward before getting up and heading outside to go to the edge of the woods where she hoped Brazen would see her. She was feeling well enough to go on a small run in the woods and hoped he would join her. It was around that time that she was still waiting for him when she heard the howl come from close by. She pinpointed where it was coming from before continuing to wait so that they could head in that direction together so that they could fight whatever might still be there, fighting whoever the howl belonged to, and so that she also wouldn’t get badly injured again. She could kind of tell that the howl belonged to Sabrina but wasn’t completely certain about that.

((Trying to refresh my memory... SO MANY CHARRIES... later, I might have to limit it to focusing on only 2 at a time, or so.))

Aiden glanced upward in thought. "Weeeell, I guess we have some responsibilities to our pack. That's what I'm told, at least." He reached out and took Raven's hands, pulling her closer. "I'd much rather start on that 'you-n-me' time now though. So, you better give me some responsible ideas now, before I pick you up and whisk you away to that sandy beach right now." A howl for help made Aiden's insides freeze. He instinctually knew it was his daughter crying out for help. Without another moment of hesitation, he turned, shifted, and charged into the forest, heart pounding faster than his feet.

Kieran frowned as he received the report from the physician. "Possible Feralism? Werewolves haven't gone feral in years. Something doesn't sound right about that." He turned and looked at his mate, his frown deepening. "Many years ago, werewolves could contract a sickness called Feralism. It made them go mad and turn extremely vicious. There was no known cure, and no one knew exactly how Feralism was contracted. We might have to do some research and reading on this."

Blaire turned red and grinned when Aisling kissed him on the cheek. He ambled around the village, mindlessly tending to his chores, until he heard the howl for help. He shifted and bolted in the direction of the cry.

Liam went on patrol with Brazen, half listening as the other boy talked nonstop about Zoe. Liam's mind was stuck on Sabrina. He stopped dead in his tracks when a nearby howl for help sounded off.
Brazen stopped talking and perked up. "That... was Sabi!" he gasped before shifting.
Somehow, Liam was faster than Brazen and had all four paws tearing at the ground. His nose detected the scent of blood and an unusual odor just before he came upon a sight that made his blood boil. He saw three werecats, creatures not often seen in these parts, slam Sabrina against a tree and knock her cold. The three creatures, hissing through their teeth, slowly padded toward the fallen girl. They only stopped and turned as Liam burst through the brush with a vicious snarl. He snapped at one, his tongue expecting the taste of blood, but his teeth only clamped around empty air.
"Little pup must be faster if he wants to catch one of ussssss." A voice hissed just before the burning pain of tearing claws dug into Liam's back.
Brazen burst through the brush not long after Liam, bristling at the sight of his sister. He saw the three werecats converge on Liam and begin to tear into him, dodging his bites with ease and grace. Knowing they couldn't take on werecats alone, Brazen let loose a howl, calling for more help.

Raven listened to everything that Aiden said before he pulled her hands towards him so that she was closer to him. She rested one of her hands on his chest before saying in reply to his statements, “I’ve been told that too and hm I can’t think of any of those ideas right now. I’d also be fine with you whisking me off to a sandy beach now in order to start our you-n-me time and have no complaints. Kieran might, though.” When she heard the howl for help, she shifted as well and took off running after her mate. She also knew that it was their daughter being the one who let out the call for help and she was a bit afraid of what sort of condition that they’d find her in when they got there. She was able to pass by him in a couple more strides or so and reached the area where their son and daughter were as well as Liam and saw the werecats. She quickly joined in before saying to Liam, Take Sabrina back to camp to get her and your injuries seen to by Tami. We’ll take it from here.

Tami listened to everything that Kieran said and looked a bit worried about the ferralism of the rogue wolf that Sabrina and Liam brought back but then felt a bit better when she heard the bit about them needing to do a little research on the disease. She nodded when she heard that but then got worried again when she heard the two howls for help, the one from their niece and then the one from one of their nephews shortly afterward. “I guess I’ll be needed to heal soon and you’ll need to go help our fellow wolves but first before you go...,” she said and trailed off before she kissed him on the lips. She pulled back after a few enjoyable moments before saying, “That was for you to remember to come back safe with the others. I’ll be in the healer hut when you get back. I’m also still interested in doing what you suggested earlier, but we can do it when you return.” She blew him a kiss just before she headed back towards the camp and the healer hut.

Zoe had met up with Aisling after a few minutes of standing on the edge of the woods near her hut. She had heard Brazen’s howl and had gone off in the direction of it and that’s where she found Aisling who had also heard the other howl. When they both reached the clearing where Sabrina was lying out cold near a tree and where Brazen and Liam were fighting some werecats, they both jumped into the fray. They both jumped onto the backs of two of the three cats which made them both yowl in pain when their necks were bitten into. They tried to fling off both of the wolves, but they held on with their claws so they wouldn’t be flung off too easily. It was then that they noticed Raven join them and they heard her speak to Liam before seeing her attack the third werecat with her claws.
