Creature Entry- Swamp Frog
The Taggeliskian Swamp Frog is most commonly found in shallow waters. It can grow to be between 7cm and 11in. It will occasionally bury itself underneath mud to cool off. It seems to be attracted to most insects, but has a fairly short tongue. It blends in with the water, mud, and plants very well. The spines on its back aid in self defense, as it can prick any predator if they decide to attack. The sharpness of the Taggeliskian Swamp Frog's spines will determine the age, younger being sharper and older being duller. The two extra "eyes" on the frog are not exactly eyes. If the frog's main (middle) eye is damaged in a way that renders it useless, one of the other eyes will "activate", giving the frog new vision. The skin is very slimy, like algae, but has no harmful or beneficial effects.
