AT THE END OF CANDLE ARCHIPELAGO
The islands of Candle Archipelago facing the open western ocean do not show a tropical vegetation: in fact, harsh cold winds blow continuously from West bringing huge quantities of salt ashore so that the outer islands appear quite unhospital, with bare white rocks and only a few species of bushes and short trees growing on them.
