I really like how you did the Draken Vale and de Nineve crests, for reference. I'd like the design to be eerie, dark, yet crisp for this family (if that makes any sense). This is a highly organized group of ravens guarding the dark inner trees of the Silva Forest, so if the crest can reflect that, that'd be great. The only thing I thought of was a silhouette of a dead tree, but if you can't pull that off, don't bother, it was just the first thing to come to my head.

Mostly, though, I want you to follow your artistic instinct. I'm throwing a lot of words and ideas at ya, but I trust you to pick and choose from them to make a cool crest.
