What's your favorite cat color?

Any cat is amazing, but black cats are my favourite. There was a study a few years back that proved that the colour of a cat affected its personality. That's why I like black cats, because, although there may be exceptions, black cats are usually more quiet, solitary (besides tending to follow their owner), and they also are more relaxed and, in my opinion, give off a scenes of mystery.

I like Calico, but only because I have had two in the past that I have loved very dearly.

I thought I knew the answer to this, then started thinking about it an realised that I didn't! I love blue (ie grey) and blue tabby cats, and have been lucky enough to own three. I think I would be a sucker for anything that had the blue dilution in it - blue cream tortie and blue point siamese (though I'm not that keen on the modern siamese as a breed)

I think on balance though that silver tabbys are my absolute favourite, and someday hope to have one.

My least favourite is anything with a lot of white and just a few bits of colour, unless it is ginger. I prefer cats with no white markings at all, though all white is fine (fickle!)

I wrote this 5 years ago, and fate is a curious thing. Since then I have had a seal point siamese, and currently have a caramel point Balinese - he is a lovely colour, mushroom and cream! I've also had a white with small black patches cat (she was killed on the road just last week, aged 5 ) and although I still am not keen on this colouring I'm not as anti as I was.

I still want a silver mackrel tabby though!

Pure whites are always pretty but I do like black and white spotted ones.

My favorites are gray and white cats, or a solid dark red/russet color :3

I really love calico cats, I used to have one when I was younger. Her name was Stripe and she would follow me around everywhere.

i'm partial to pointed (siamese and ragdoll kind of kitties) and black cats! i absolutely love the both of them. shame i'm allergic to cats

I'm kinda partial to tiger-tabbies, because my cat was one and he was the silliest sweetheart to ever meow... and now I'm sad even though it's been 7 years...

Tortoiseshell. My kitten in 1999 was one, and my new kitten is one too!
...I did NOT adopt Ellie because she had Boo's face...
