You can just play with friends, we're all here and we can use Cockatrice! Actual playing places and tournaments can be a bit intimidating, for sure. I always got my rear handed to me in every competition I touched.

I think my biggest barrier to actually playing is I can't get over my collector repulsion of having more than one of each card so I'm just like nope. I do enjoy some of the dabbling I've done with digital versions even though I have no idea 90% of the time.

too bad standard does not interest me, and I need to brush up on my limited, been tinkering with a draft simulator I found online, and have been doing mock drafts of modern masters 3 (I requested a next friday off to go draft on release day)

I WILL NOT be able to pass up fetch lands and liliana of the veils xD

I'm so hyped for modern masters 2017. Me and my partner split the cost of a box so fingers crossed that'll be here soon after release.

hopefully one of my LGS will do a midnight release MM3 draft...will hit that up post work if so haha

that's why in lue of buying boxes, I've decided to just outright BUY my fetches...though I WILL crack a good number of packs I usually have good luck with non-standard packs (i've cracked a set of goyfs via modern masters)

Report: draft was a bust, but ended up going half on a box with a guy...i crack the first pack...goyf...by the end of it...i also crack a lili, voice of resurgence, and griselbrand...box had ZERO fetches...but 4 mythics and a foil damnation...
