That's nice and all, but how the heck am I supposed to do that on a tablet? I'm stuck with this thing for at least two more months!

Follow the same steps. Most tablets are pretty much on the same level as some of the more basic computers (sans fancier stuff).Monsterchan wrote:That's nice and all, but how the heck am I supposed to do that on a tablet? I'm stuck with this thing for at least two more months!

@ Monsterchan - I've never used a tablet, so I'm sorry I don't know the answer to that. But I do know that there are many on MS who use tablets and/or smartphones, posting in the click-threads as well, so it must be possible like Pok says.Pok wrote:Follow the same steps. Re: How to post to daycares.
- if i may ask, why is it where we put the eggs/hatchlings as codes? why not just show the eggs/hatchlings in the post or put them in a spoiler box that needs to be opened in order to able to click on them?

Because the Daycare forum is not a clicking-critters forum, it's a forum for asking people to help you.sorrows wrote:

I don't know how familiar you are with the word "daycare", I've discovered it confuses some people (not kidding about that, some people really have no clue what it means, I've had plenty of PMs about it). A daycare is a place where parents hand over their kids to the people working there, so those people can take care of the kids while the parents go to work. Other words for similar = nursery, kindergarten, babysitter, nanny.
Well, the people running the threads in this forum have each their daycare, where the users needing hatching help can hand over their eggs/hatchlings' codes, so the daycare owners can take care of them and help them grow.
The way they help you is to take the codes, and post them in the three click-threads - those are found in the Reindeer Games forum - and/or posting them on places like Twitter and Yarold's.
When you then ask the Daycare owners here to help you by posting in their threads, it's much easier for them if they can simply copy the codes out of the code box and then go posting them in the click-threads, Twitter, and Yarold's. And really, when you're asking for someone to help you, it's much nicer to make it easy for them, right?
Posting critters like you described, is what we do in the three click-threads, and nowhere else. Those click-threads are found in the Reindeer Games forum - 19-reindeer-games.html

- i was just asking mainly because i use the egg hatching train, and it seems that it would be simpler if that instead of putting everything in a code box to just put everything out in the open ready to be clicked.
i am very new here, so that's about the only thread here that I use. other than that i haven't really explored the other forums or other daycares. i know what a daycare is, but i was just confused on why to put it as codes and not just show the eggs/hatchlings you want clicked. maybe it just makes sense to me to do it like that, but it's nice to know that there are other forums to do that in.

With the egg hatching train, if you were to post them like that, then the only people clicking the creatures would be the people using the train. When you instead put them in a code box, then they're easy to copy and take with you into the click-threads where they'll be clicked by many others.sorrows wrote:NyxNoire wrote:-snip-

That said, the click-threads are a bit slow when we don't have an event or a new release.
But posting to the IFN is always good, people use that for goldmining as well. - http://magi-ifn.net/add.php
