Fae males and female Pearls also have a more than average coverage. It's so inconsistent that I cringe.

And, cough - imo, Opal is a hit and miss gene. But. It's shiny. And its placement is more or less consistent across breeds.

Anyone know if there's Coli venues that have a better chance of finding Mimics?
Cause the news says they can be found in all areas, but I spent like, an hour at least in Redrock Cove and found exactly 0 Mimics.

Honestly your best bet is Woodland Path or Scorched forest because they don't have many mobs in the first place, plus the enemies are easy to kill so you can go through a lot in an hour.

Honestly your best bet is Woodland Path or Scorched forest because they don't have many mobs in the first place, plus the enemies are easy to kill so you can go through a lot in an hour.

On the flip side, lower level venues have lower chances of NOTN mobs dropping chests. I mainly stick to grinding in the highest level (up to Mire, that is, because mimics make kelp beds and workshop hella difficult) that drops the needed items for the current Swipp chest cycle.

I found that the Blooming Grove worked pretty well. I got four strange chests in maybe an hour(?) the other day.

ive been having the best luck in the scorched forest. i was able to grind for 20 chests yesterday, didn't keep track of time tho.
