Number of episodes:a lot
Plot(No spoilers please!): so this guy is put on the path to be shamen king after he hears from his grandpa that its really cool but one thing is bad he can't find a ghost to come with him and when he does his new friend gets kinda scared after the history it had but eventually gets over it and comes with them to but there are lots of bumps in the road
Why you think it’s worth recommending:its really good and a bit funny at times but some episodes can be real heart warming like the second one
Anything else to keep in mind about it:not much but the only name i can ever remember is morty who is always getting picked on for his size

So, I saw this just recently and it's pretty thought-provoking about what a lot of viewers (me included) register as fanservice, and what not. I'm also in the camp where I think that fanservice per se isn't bad, as long as it doesn't distract from the main plot (which also means I have nothing against ecchi shows in general, which are built ON fanservice), sooo yeah.

Attack on Titan - season 3 - am up to date on the last episode so far....hoping for more
Food Wars - finished everything so far....might need to wait till next year for more episodes? not sure
Hero Academia - up to date on the latest....love this show
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.....I'm 64 episodes or so in...still watching more to binge...love it so far

  How did you get into anime? When I was little my brother watched a bunch of it and had Inuyasha so I watched that when I was younger, but my first anime that wasn't influenced by my brother was Karin (Chibi Vampire).

About a month or so ago I picked up the latest PreCure series after seeing some screenshots from the (at the time) new episode that had me intrigued and curious(one b/c the character bore a striking resemblance to a character from another (unrelated) series I had been watching and two b/c he was in a dress, and it seemed to playing this 100 straight and not as a joke or as crossdressing).
Ended up loving the hell out of this show and the aforementioned character (and yes, him in a dress is played entirely straight and not for laughs, literally his only reasoning for wearing a dress is 'because it's lovely' and because he can).

And then just the other day I saw some screenshots from the latest episode and had to play catch up (I hadn't been watching it on my own but in a weekly stream with friends, so I was only at ep 25 while the show was at 42) and basically binged through 16 episodes in one night with some friends. Because PreCure did something HUGE for the series and I wanted to watch the episode(but needed to watch the previous eps for context).

15 series, 50+ PreCures later, and we finally have a 100% legit and canon male PreCure (and not one played for laughs or as a joke, he has a Cure name, transformation scene and everything). Yes it was character mentioned above, and it was wonderful and he was amazing. I'm not still not over this cause even tho they teased it back in ep 8-he easily figured out that his friend was one of the PreCure and made a comment to her that 'maybe [he] would try to be PreCure'-I wasn't actually sure if they would do it. And then they did.

So yeah, Hugtto! PreCure is really hecking awesome and I 100% recommend it. Also if you've ever watched Sailor Moon, the plot line here bears a strong resemblance to the Dark Moon arc from SM (which may be intentional cause as I've learned the director for Hugtto actually DID direct the OG Sailor Moon, tho he left before getting to do the Dark Moon arc)

Also they recently had a movie for the 15th anniversary that was a big heckin crossover with every. single. PreCure ever. So there were something like, 55 in total and it set a world record for that.


Also, I found this anime called 'Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai' (Seishun Buta Yaro Wa Bunny Girl Senpai) which, ok the title sounds weird as heck (it's based on a light novel, and they are notorious for weird names) but it's actually really good, and the characters are great.

Geez you guys, how come no one posts here anymore

So has anyone been watching The Rise of the Shield Hero? My hubby has read a lot of the books and manga and I have just started reading book #1, but we have been watching the anime on Crunchyroll and wow it's freaking amazing, am loving it so far!!!! (no spoilers pls!)

Finished watching The Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Neverland)....AMAZING is all I can say!!!!
Finished watching SAO Alicization....wow I freaking can't wait for next season!!! Love SAO series.
Also finished watching Kaguya: Love is War, super duper funny and can't wait for next season.

Started watching NEW SEASON OF ATTACK ON TITAN....saw the first one already, can't wait for more episodes.

And last but not least, also watching a new anime called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and all I can say is it's very interesting so far and damn I need moar.

So anyone watching anything interesting from the Spring 2019 lineup at all? Or just recommend anything that you currently love!
