Hello! Welcome to my little spot in this vast whiteness. Come, take a seat. How do I have a house out here? Ha, dear, that is nothing to worry about. Take a seat, enjoy yourself! I'll go put a kettle on the stove and we can sit and have some tea.
Oh? You want something to do while you wait? Well, the first door to the right in the hall is my library, feel free to take a look! I've written all the books in there, spanning across other places.
Want something else? Why not check out my other parlor?

~Sweltering~
Characters: Hajr(Flightrising, main charcter); Asra (Arcana); Muriel (Arcana)
Setting: Arcana Universe
Sweltering….
Sweltering….
It's sweltering….
I could barely breathe. My chest feels tight. Panic starts to set in.
I can't breathe.
I can't breathe.
I feel like I'm floating. I claw at the air around me, before landing flat on the roots.
Sweltering….
Sweltering….
Sweltering again….
It's just as hot here, wherever I am. Heat pounds against me, sliding against each and every scale I have. I can feel the ground bump under me.
The heart…..
It's weak. A lot weaker than what I'm used to….
The magic here is weaker than my home. That's my first clue to that I'm not where I'm supposed to be.
But…. I search. I search for the pull of Dragonhome on my magic.
The magic that radiates from the Starfall Isles.
The life that the Behemoth from the Viridian Garden.
The smell of disease from the Scarred Wasteland.
The smell of smoke from the Ashfall Waste.
The hum of the Shifting Expanse.
The sound of the waves from the Sea of a Thousand Currents
The bitter cold from the Southern Icefields.
I pick my head up, shaking it as I slowly got to my feet. Trees surround me.
….These aren't the trees of the Tangled Woods. Or the small span of tress from the Sunbeam Ruins.
My body feels…. Different. From the way I stand, my legs feel longer, but I feel shorter as well. Everything feels shorter.
It makes my head hurt, and makes me lay down again.
My head whips, my horns causing my head to tilt.
…...This… creature is strange. It looks like the top half of the centaurs but… it had the same look as a frog. Smooth body instead of scales or fur.
A collar was around its neck, a ragged cloak covering its scarred body, while dark fur covers its eyes and head. For a second, it seems to glare at me, before its face softens.
What…?
It makes a deep grumble, before gesturing me something. Does it want me to get up?
I grunt back at it, before slowly getting up. Its eyes follow me, and widened as I stand before it.
I tower over the creature a good few heads. My wings shuffled, making the clothing around me rustle. From the look that it had on its face, it didn't think I'd be this tall.
-------
I'm in a den, I think. Though, it feels a little cramp.
I huddle in one corner, relishing the cool feeling all around me. It's… nice in here. In this creature's den.
It seemed to have brought two friends. A wolf, that reminded me of the black wolves from home, and another creature, its skin tanner and its head fur white, and much much shorter than the other one who lead me into here.
They seem to be talking about something, probably me. But I can't understand. They only speak in grunts and groans, the shorter one's sounding more like squeaks.
I rest my head on my talons, closing my eyes.
Sweltering…
Sweltering…
Cool…
The pattern of the magma here is weird. It feels like it's the source of magic, but not at the same time. The way how it thumps through the ground is almost familiar, yet so alien and new.
I toss slightly, making sure to not bump into anything or disrupt the creatures' conversation, my eyes trained on them.
Maybe one day I can understand them. But for now, I shall just sit and think of how I can repay the kind, tall creature for taking me into its den.

~~Time~~
Characters: Faye/Faythie (Arcana, OC); Whitespeck/Specks (Own character, Own universe)
Setting: Arcana, Shop
Trigger warning: Mentions of possible death, Mentions of life threatening wounds
-------He couldn't breathe.
-------How could he breathe at a time like this? What even gave him a right to breathe? What gave him the right to sit here, with her snuggled to his body, and breathe?
-------He could see the pain in her eyes.
-------She couldn't hold on for long. He knew it, even she knew it.
-------A shaky, soft smile spread across Specks' tearful face. He knew there was nothing that he could do. He didn't have enough knowledge, and there was no way that he could get her to a healer in time.
-------When he heard the choked out words coming from her, he shushed her quietly, feeling the tears that were threatening to leave his eyes now slipping down his cheeks. He placed his hand over the deep gash over her chest, letting a bit of magic pour through to help at least numb the pain.
-------Specks had to hold in the small sob as he watched her relax against him, and give a small sigh against his neck.
-------He could feel Faythie's breathing get weaker and weaker…. Until, it wasn't there at all.
-------His chest heaved as a pained wail slipped from him. He clutched at her gently, his calm demeanor now gone now that she was gone. His tears came in tenfold as he buried his face in her hair.
-------He sputtered when he felt like she was yanked from him. The moment that the noise slipped from him, he was falling.
-------…..
-------He awoke with a start, his heart pounding in his chest. His breathing was so quick, he felt like he was hyperventilating.
-------But all that he cared about was the fact that there was a warm body pressed against him. And that oh so familiar scent.
-------Looking down, he could see the scar that crossed over her collarbone.
-------He still had time. Still had time to love and cherish her. To keep her in his life.
-------….To try and convince her to become what he was, so that they could live together as long as they possibly wanted.
-------He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close and burying his face into her hair. He could feel her stir in her sleep, but he didn't care.
-------She was here, and she was alive, and that was all that mattered.
