Re: ~~An Ancient Tale~~
Hidden in overgrown brush.
Long awaiting new feet on the battered path.
A sorrowning place, with a sorrowing tale.
We buried our dead
Or what was left after the attack.
And moved to statues here
In case something comes back.
Under the ground and graves
Laid a beautiful cave.
Filled with hundreds if not thousands
Of people who hunted our own.
Spiraling around.
We gathered help
Of witches and wizards
To place a spell under this place.
Nine spots stay open
In the snowflake that was created.
For when they step foot in here
They shall awake again.
A sun.
A moon.
A star.
A night sky.
A pointed leaf.
A symbol of magic.
A bought of wind.
A tall tree.
And a dagger.
If these people
Ever to unite again
And step foot into this hollow.
These people shall be awakened.
Although confused.
But may that never happen
Because of all that we had to lose.

Re: ~~Laser Tag~~
Characters: Julien (Friend's oc); Solstice (Friend's oc)
----He crouched, trying to get as close down the ground as he could without laying down. A soft, blue light seeped into every corner of his hiding spot. Julien wasn't sure if people were even allowed here, or if anyone even thought of hiding up where he was, but he didn't care.
----It was a great vantage point, and he needed it.
----Watching the swirls of blue and red dash around, he narrowed down on his target. She already got him 7 times now, and he was determined to get back at her at least once. From the looks of it, she was getting closer to where he was hiding.
----He made note of where she was before jumping down carefully, not making a sound. His feet barely made any noise as he sneaked around the corners of walls, looking around while trying to stay hidden.
----Julien yelped when he felt himself being shoved roughly into a corner, dropping the gun in his hands. It hit his leg, slightly swinging from the wire that held it to the vest. A second hadn't even passed when he was spun around, only to be met with a sharp grin.
----"Sol!" His voice was a whisper as he looked at her, slightly pouting. Her grin only widened, and he couldn't tell if she had moved her face closer to his or not. "How did you even--"
----He made a small noise of surprise as he felt her lips on his in a hard kiss, some of her crimson curls brushing against his forehead. He could feel his knees shake slightly as she kissed him slightly harder, his eyes falling close as he kissed back.
----He shook his head slightly when she pulled away, and that's when Julien heard the small little pew pew of a fake gun. The corner, which had been drenched in a purple lightly, was now red from the lights on Solstice's. It took him a moment to understand what happened, but he groaned when he did.
----She smirked, slowly starting to saunter off while twirling the laser gun in her hand. "You know, if you want to take the shot, you should do it when you have the chance."
----He tried to say something back, but when he thought of something she was already gone. He sighed, slowly slipping to the ground, crossing his arms as he waited out the 30 seconds.

Re: ~~Just a Small Dot~~
Characters: Raindrop/Rain (OC); Twilight/Twi (Friend's Oc)
Other things: Overpopulation AU, green dot means you can continue living, while a red dot means that the government eliminates you
---------Red….
---------Red….?
---------That…. That wasn't what she was hoping for. Not at all.
---------She could feel the tears bubble up around her eyes, slowly spilling down her cheeks. What was she going to do? What was she going to say?
---------Twi had already gotten her color a few months ago. The brightest green that both of them have ever seen.
---------But the color that was on the back of her own hand was the same as blood, if not darker.
---------A sob broke the silence.
---------...Then another…
---------...And another…
---------...And another…
---------She tried to muffle herself with her hand as the tears just kept coming.
---------Surely this was just a mistake? An evil prank that was played on her? She had so many things that she wanted to do, so many dreams that she wanted to reach….
---------Did it really have to go down like this?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
---------Blue eyes sparkled with curiosity as she approached her friends house. The lights were off, but she paid no mind. Maybe a surprise?
---------...But Rain was never one for surprises. And Twi couldn't help the feeling of dread that crawled up the back of her neck, making the fine hairs stand up.
---------Either way, she inserted the spare key she had in the lock and twisted it. She opened the door, and took a step in.
---------...Why was no one here? Not a single thing had been changed, yet it felt empty. Almost… dead.
---------First, she checked the living room.
---------Then the kitchen.
---------Heck, even the bathroom.
---------Slowly, she reached the bedroom. Twi knocked first, before pushing the door open.
---------Only a small box laid on the center of the bed, as well as a few papers, stacked neatly in a pile next to it.
---------Curiously, she reached for the box, opening it carefully.
---------...The… The key to the house?
---------And… And was that the silver necklace that Rain treasured so dearly?
---------Picking it up gently, she looked over the little heart clasp. Sure enough, there was two small pearls in it. A bright blue, and a dark purple.
---------But why would these two things just be laying out in the open? Was she supposed to find them?
---------Slowly, she moved to the stack of papers, unfolding the top one. The handwriting was shaky, tears blotting it in some places.
------
I'm sorry that you had to find this, my dear friend. If you do, that probably means that… that I'm no longer here.
☆
I'm so sorry that it had to be like this. Nothing probably could've changed my fate. I was destainted to die the moment that red started to show up.
☆
Live your life to its fullist, please. Don't linger over me too much. I've had a good run, even if it was short. I'm glad that I met you.
☆
I leave my stuff to you. I only trust you with it. Please take care of it. I'll make sure to greet you in the afterlife once your time comes. If they even is one.
☆
I'll miss you Twi.

-Your trusted friend and soulsister

---------She didn't know what to say, dropping the small letter. Her hands shook, tears slowly welted in her eyes.
---------They flickered over to rest of the rest of the stack, shifting through them.
---------Pictures. Pictures of the two of them together, with their other friends. Just them having fun together.
---------Hot, wet tears slowly streaked down her face. She put the photos down, gripping at the letter as she read over and over again.
---------...This… This wasn't how it was supposed to end… right?

Re: ~~DeTermination~~
Characters: Nightgaze/Night (OC); Twilight/Twi (Friend's oc)
--------Tears blurred her vision. The pain that blossomed in her chest and shoulder made her want to choke.
--------Those eyes were still on her. Watching as she felt her life drip away. Just staring at her with that hollow, hollow gaze.
--------She had failed. Failed at the hands of her own child, at the least.
--------And she wasn't coming back. There was no way this time. She was forced to feel the very last of her slowly drip away from the rod in her chest.
--------She coughed, only seeing red in her hand as her eyes cut up to her child's. Her limbs shook as she stood, having to hunch over to keep the pain at least somewhat bearable.
--------Slowly, a shaky laugh rocked her body as she stared at the empty husk. That wasn't her daughter anymore. No. Her daughter was long gone.
--------A coughing fit overtook her as she choked out the words. "Cu-Curse…. Curse this fo-foolish mother's b-blindness…."
--------A gasp of pain escaped her as she spoke, just realizing how much her chest vibrated when she talked.
--------"Yo-You're no b...better than t-them…"
--------She couldn't help the disgust that crept into her voice. It over took her body, as she watched the husk even dare to flinch.
--------Was that a spark of emotion that she saw? No… no it couldn't be….
--------But… maybe she could try to reach out to her….
--------"I… sh-shall grieve….. Go-Good...b-bye child of m-mine…"
--------There. Another spark.
--------"The...re is bl...blood on yo-your hands…"
--------She could feel her chest tighten. It was getting harder and harder to breathe. But she would get through to the brown haired girl before she died. No matter what.
--------"F-Follow…. bli...ind de...termi...nation… si-since you ca...n't res...ist its c-call…"
--------More gasps frequented between her words as she stumbled slightly, taking a step forwards. Fear light up in the girl's eyes, and she took a step back.
--------The gaze wasn't as hollowing but… she could barely feel the emotion that was in it.
--------"I… da-damn yo-your dete…rimat...ion.."
--------Night staggered again, falling to her knees with wide eyes in another coughing fit. It was one of the worst decisions she made, as it pushed the rod deeper into her chest. More blood came out of her mouth as she just crumpled, breathing becoming shallower and shallower….
--------As downwards I fall….

~~Too Cruel...~~
Characters: Nightgaze (OC); Fuego (OC)
----His breathing shuddered, blood dripping out from the deep cut from his forehead. His body felt like it was on fire as he took each step closer to the wo-- no, thing. This was a thing. Just like everyone else said.
----He trained his eyes on the being, who just sat there. Sh- it acted like it was perfectly comfortable, even as the battle raged and roared on in the distance.
He was given orders by the general himself to seek and kill this…. beast in front of him. The others found it a high honor, to try and kill it, but he started to think that it was more of a death wish as each second ticked by.
----It took one wrong step to make his breathing speed up, becoming quick and shallow. His vision was unfocused, but he could tell one thing. Arms were wrapped around him in a strange, gentle embrace, hands rubbing his back gently, almost in a motherly way.
----He snapped his head up to look at the person who was holding him once he could see. His eyes went wide as he faced cold, icy eyes that seemed to hold… empathy?
----"Shh, it's alright," she said, her ice blue eyes shimmering from the black dragon scales that formed her helmet. "You're doing beautifully and I'm so proud of you right now. It was cruel for them to make you fight me-- you could never have won. It's not your fault."
----Her voice was oddly motherly, but he couldn't help but relaxed, whimpering. He curled up, pressing against her and hiding his face in her shoulder. He didn't understand. These 'things' were still people, be it with differences.
----He tried to speak, but a grumble came out instead. The trueborn holding him didn't seem to mind. She seemed to be more focused on trying to calm him down.
----It took a while, but he was soon on his feet, his shoulders being dusted off by gentle hands.
----"What's your name, young one?" Her voice was still gentle, but did seem to hold a small bit of anger.
----"F-Fuego." He murmured after a while, leaning into the hand that was now cupping the side of his face.
----"How old are you?"
----He debated with himself, but found himself answer after a moment. "I-I'm 17…."
----A disappointed sigh came from her. "He keeps sending younger and younger people to fight us." She seemed to be talking to herself, before looking down at him.
----She slowly took one of his hands in hers, giving him a serious look. "Give this to your general, and tell him that I said to come onto the battlefield himself."
----He looked up at her, about to ask her a question, but he blinked instead. She had disappeared, as if the breeze had blown her away. The only thing left was a small, black scale that rested in the palm of his hand.
