So I would like to learn how to do pixel art

so i did this recently of my sona for my youtube channel and though im really proud of it i know it can be better.

does anyone had any good guides or exorcises that can help me improve on pixel art?

Looks like you're off to a great start! You probably don't want to just hear "practice everyday/practice makes perfect," so instead I'll ask : Have you tried searching on deviantArt? There's a ton of tutorials of varying quality there. Like these two(1, 2) that helped me with the bottles I made for my koi.

Personally, I spent a lot of time in the past splicing together Pokémon sprites, and I like to think that working with so many of them gave me a feel for pixel art. Maybe studying some professional sprites could help you?

I actually used to do Pokemon edits (mostly recolors). asl ill try the DA search but the new search engine they have is junk
