Creatures 1557-1564: Marble Fish

These are perfect additions to my Rock Garden, where there's a lake formed by my Aquifereptis. So far the lake just has Stone Uguay, Nareau Minnows with their lovely geodes, and Cardinal Oryn swimming around. I'm going to need a bunch of colorful marble fish!
(This month's Crystal Crinoids are going to look great in my rock garden, too!)

The adults are so pretty I really like the gold and black ones in particular. I'm not a fan of bred creatures so i won't be breeding any hybrids myself but i'm looking forward to seeing the colours

Anyone else finding they are hatching more males? or is it just my bad luck so far out of the 11 i have hatched all of them have been male

Albeit very heavy, marble fish adults are expert swimmers. The air magic they control allows them to move freely in the water, maybe even better than regular fish. Although sociable, the marble fish prefer to stick to specific locations, wherever they feel the most comfortable with the environment. This makes some of the known marble fish types rarer than others. White marble fish are a common sight in the Arkene region, where their white bodies blend in well with the scenery. Their scales are usually used for temples, as the pearled white is considered to signify purity. The scales shed from them are gathered monthly with great care. Statues shaped as marble fish made from their very scales are often placed near ponds and lakes as a show of gratitude for everything these creatures offer.
