full thingThe Sock Bandit used to be a normal young girl. One day, her and her friends were playing hide and go seek in her basement. Thinking fast, she slipped into the dryer. But what she didn't know... was that her friend had to do laundry. She heard the metalic click of buttons before drifting into darkness. Awakened much later, she blinked her eyes to clear them. She felt something fuzzy clinging to her clothes. When she looked, there were a multitude of socks encasing her head, and strewn on her shirt and pants. They had somehow protected her from cracking her head. She was jolted by the sound of the door to the dryer opening, and quick as a flash, she raced out. She ran long and hard, unable to pull off the socks. It was useless. They were stuck on, and any sock she came near would cling to her. She had to hide her face, so she bought a flimsy, too-small mask. Every time someone dries the laundry, she is sucked into the dryer and takes one of each pair of sock. If you listen closely, there will be a moment where everything goes haywire in the dryer. This is her scrambling to get out, her screams changed from human-like to metallic clunks.
