How the Unicorns came to be



Long, long ago, around the time when Magistream came to be, there were graceful white horses, with long, feathery white wings. They went by the name of Pegasus, and many thought of them as royalty. Still, others thought of them as symbols of purity, as they thought that they had no evil in their hearts.

They were wrong.

The Pegasus had a war council that consisted of twelve powerful Pegasus. One had a dark heart and he went by the name of Darkheart. Darkheart urged the others to claim more territory than they were given in The Start by the Powers. Half of the Pegasus disagreed with Darkheart and the other half followed Darkheart blindly. They wanted power and war weapons. So Darkheart and his army went up to the Power and asked for weapons of immense power. The Power was amused. It sent Darkheart to retrieve something like what he wanted for his weapon. So Darkheart flew towards the sea and killed a Narwhale. He retrieved the long, lethal horn and brought it up to The Power. The power was angry that Darkheart would kill to get his weapon. So It created a powerful wizardry and unleashed it on the Pegasus. “From now on,” It cried. “You shall have what you wanted; a horn of great power. But you shall lose shall lose your wings of flight.”

Darkheart and his army spiraled towards the ground, trying to flapped their wings and achieving nothing. They landed on the ground with one long white horn growing out of their forhead and their wings gone. And from that moment on, they became Unicorns, the warrior of light.

I wrote the beginniginning of the Pegasi and surprisingly it doens' tcontrast with this at all!
