To get your pal pad number, go to your key items pouch, scroll down to the item called "Pal Pad". Use it. There are three options. Go to the one that says " Insert character's name here FRIEND CODE" and there is your code. ^^

NOTE: Pal Pad is only available on Generation IV (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HS and SS))

I tried that and it said "To obtain your Friend Code, please log on to the Nintendo WFC.", I have no idea what that means. I've never had anyone to play with, so I'm new to connecting..


My party is weak on Diamond. But I want to battle all the same!

lol. I'll use my 65 team, okay? if you have wi-fi where you're at, this is how you'll connect.

Go to the beginning start menu where you'd normally select your game file. Go down to NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS and select it. tap the giant blue button that says "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings". Tap COnnection 1. Tap "Search for an Access Point" and go from there.
