Books were outrageously stupid. Yes, I read them. They're aimed at kids, but to even think they're canon is ridiculous. And seriously, there's no way to tell if a CUB is a male or female for sure; a little hair on the head? Vitani had that.

The only one that i read was "Nala's Dare"(or the second book).And i finished The Lion King: Hidden Stories,it was fun to read but a little sad,poor Kopa and Vitani
And Shenzi if i remember males had that black thing around the ears while the females did not(and there were a few more but i can't remember.

Some have come up with the theory that Kovu was born before the Outsiders were cast out. But, then why is he the same size as Kiara? But, it might not have taken years for the lands to renew. They had rains at the end, and that would have helped. So, maybe she was born a few months after him. And then there is the really fun question about the cub at the end of TLK not looking anything like Kiara in SP.

I love the plot holes as it leads to some really great fanart.

It's a theory that the cub at the end might be Simba's son,Kopa that appears only in a set of books titled The Lion King: Six New Adventures.One popular ideea is that Zira killed Kopa and that is one of the reason they were exiled.So Kiara was supposed to have a brother,but dunno why they changed the story.

Oh I know about Kopa. Disney argues that it was Kiara and that Simba had no other cubs.

Though, I do like a new "theory" about Kopa. It really was enough to make me laugh. Simba + Zira = Kopa and Nala = the disappearance of Kopa. No, it wasn't serious, but it was fun.
