Hm... perhaps less sharp edges? After all, it seems like a butterfly's wings has more corners & sharp lines & such compared to a moth's...ongaku_itsumademo wrote:OHMAIGAWDFirerubynat wrote:Gorgeous stuff! I especially like the pic for the hatchling, and the way you describe the egg - "embraces" - nice choice of word~
... Totally random, but it'll be cool if, in classic MS tradition, we have a dark-colored version following Moth colors (Moth Drake?) ...
WE HAVE TO HAVE THAT!
So...
What's the difference in wing shape between a butterfly and a moth?

greyfire: Thanks for the positive review!
dragon: I'll add some of your links to the first post.
Firerubynat: Hmm...
I think moth wings are flatter and more triangular?
And they do seem to have softer edges...
Lemme see what I can whip up.
After I finish homework.
Evil homework.

Ongaku I think the first colour scheme is my favorite from the three and the third wing pattern would be good if you didn't use the original colour scheme butterfly pattern
a moth would be a good idea but there are some dark coloured butterflies that would be a good contrasting colouration
I hope that helped

Hmm...
I don't know.
I was thinking of a slightly different wing shape to go together with more earthy moth tones.

No...not quite.Ice wrote:They would look like this?
Did you make those?
They're great!
I meant these to be more dragon-ish and less iguana-ish.
They also don't have forelegs.
