Lol, no worries, I figure I wasn't super stoked about making another character sheet for him if it took me over a week and still hadn't come to a decision on making one.

And thank you! It was the product of me kinda experimenting with a drawing program I acquired recently, and aside from a couple little kinks I love it. I'm thinking of doing others just for kicks after I finish redrawing Bree -who was done in GIMP with a mouse - because I absolutely hate her current pic.

Okay guys, first post is up. I don't think it's exactly the greatest, but hopefully it'll work. I started off in the Hoenn region, mostly because that's where Team Aqua was located, and given that Sonara's looking for relics of theirs I figured it would work. I also put a "Time of day" indicator beneath the Announcements; I dunno if it's relevant now or if it'll ever be, but just in case there comes a time where that info's important for whatever reason there it is.

Would it be ok if you saved me a spot? I've been itching for a more....errr....appropriate (because i cant think of the word, so that's the word im using) Pokemon roleplay. And I stumbled upon this gem. I plan on having a Lucario Gijinka and one more which I'm having trouble deciding. But I will edit this post when i have them done, if im still allowed to join.

Occupation: Freelance Gym Battler but in his spare time he also looks for answers as to why the change happened.
Bio: Entering battle teams at the age of 13, Raiu began his career as a gym battler. The team he started off with, swiftly rose to be one of the top teams around. But their team fell as fast as it rose and so Raiu went looking for another team. He soon found himself as a freelance battler, signing a small contract with certain teams for a certain amount of time, often times having contracts overlap each other. But he also found himself intrigued by the change. He wanted to learn more about how it happened, so during his free time Raiu started to look into how the change happened.
Other: Raiu, while he is not muscular, he is very strong. This is due to years of training in hand to hand combat skills and inheriting Lucario's fighting skills. Raiu also inherited Lucario's sense in Aura. However this is limited to only being able to sense someone's feelings and only at close range. But Raiu doesn't delve into that too often. He finds it unnecessary.

DaedAir, of course you're still allowed! I'll save a couple spots for your characters, looking forward to having you! I think I know what you're talking about in terms of Pokemon RPs. Pretty much the only ones I see here are set in a high school for Gijinkas. I tried joining a Trainer one, but that thing crashed and burned before it even left the ground, and the only good Gijinka one I ever found was a couple years or so ago and, sadly, that one wound up dying, too, after a while.

Edited my post above. I also have a couple questions because I'm new to Gijinkas. I've never done a Gijinka roleplay before; let alone a pokemon roleplay before. The questions I have are these:

How does battling work exactly?
I know there are TMs and HMs, but are their potions and how does that work?

Kiro, I made a human character and posted it with Kyle's form so that I can keep them together. It was quickly put together, so it's not nearly as much as Kyle's form but I hope it's okay. Also, if she has too many pokemon I could change it to just the one Dratini if that's better. ^^

DaedAir, your characters are accepted, you may start posting whenever you like and I'll add them to the list. In response to your questions:

Battles work pretty much like sparring matches with super-powers. Gijijnkas can learn and use the same moves their Pokemon counterparts could, but those moves might manifest in different ways. I used the Ice Fang example in the main thread, or maybe Water Gun could be the user literally projectile vomiting a river onto their opponent, or they might shoot a stream or ball of water from their hand. In this regard, I give creative license to each character's creator on the condition that the adaptation of the move makes sense. Similarly, because humans are quite adaptable, Gijinkas are capable of improvising moves to a certain extent. An Ice or Fire Type, for example, might be able to engulf their hands or feet in flame/ice to improvise Ice/Fire Kick/Punch.

Regarding items, I think it'd make sense for them to exist like the TMs and HMs (which are fairly rare), but be adapted to a Gijinka's body, and I think they'd be available only to people working in the medical field. Berries, on the other hand, grow wild and are available to anyone willing to go forth and harvest them.

Sinder, about your character. In her bio, it seems to imply that she was alive when the Change occurred, and if that's the case I'd like to point out that the event happened a long time ago, as in several generations, so even her parents would've been born after it happened. As for the number of Pokemon she has... I'm kind of torn about it, to be honest. On one hand, I don't wanna be super-restrictive about people's characters, but on the other, Pokemon are "extremely rare". So, I'll say that three's fine, because she's old enough to have done some deep exploration a time or two.

I'll play around some with the form - probably go into more detail- then and fix the issues and if it makes it easier I can explain how she got each pokemon so that it doesn't seem like they just popped out of the blue. As I said, I made the form really quick to get it out there... though might have been easier to just reserve.. Either way, I'll work on it now!
