I'm glad I discovered this thread! I had noticed a typo or two since joining but didn't know about this until now... time to go back and search through when I have time and hopefully I can find them again

While Flos Jackalopes and Kursim Jackalopes have the "a" in jackalopes, Aetus Jackalopes are spelled "Jacklopes". Is this an error?

In the description of the adult Vasant Beetle:

"Unlike most companions, an vasant beetle is born with all the control over its magics it will ever need."

The article "an" is used prior to words beginning with a vowel. I think what is meant in this sentence is "a vasant beetle".

Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs

I don't think that parse is a word I think it's supposed to be "paste," but I could be wrong.
This "typo" is also under the Options menu of the "Post A Reply" thingy. I can see it down there, it's glaring me in the face e.e

In this case, it means whether you want the site to automatically identify urls by trying to understand the programming language involved and turning it into a link (i. e. recognizing the tags you use as something that has a function beyond just being a number of letters following each other). If you disallow it, links will not be clickable for you as the url will not be turned into links.
