I know that you use Photoshop and stuff, but the last time I did adoptables, Photoshop took hours to update the picture. How do you make a fast transition? I know that you replace the image with the same image name and stuff but, it's still super confusing. I need a super easy, super slow walkthrough.
I also need a name for my adoptables. Know of any words that mean "Life" or "Life-like"?

Re: Adoptables Help Plz?
If you use google translator you can search up many words in different languages! (I find it very helpful!)
As for the adopts: I use photobucket so all I do is once I have the new image and I want to change over I go to photobucket and delete the pervuis stage and then once it's deleted I will go back to my computer and make sure that the new stage has the same name as the one I just deleted. (if I doesn't I change the name) After that I go back to photobucket and upload the new pic!
That is all there is to it. Sometimes it takes a supper long time (over a day sometimes) for it to update it's self. But it does that for everyone. Sometimes it helps if you press F5 when your on the page you wish to see the new adoptible on. (but I don't know if you have to do that with every page it's on or not) But after a while it will load it's self so that you see the new one and not the old.

From what I can tell you can't really get a faster transaction, it will take as long as it takes. Possibly because the site/server thing has to register that the image was deleted the has to realize 'Oh, wait. The image is right here' then reloads it but with the new image. Also the further you are from the server thing the longer it will take [I don't know for sure but this is close enough ]

At least photobucket stores the image information in your browser's cookie. Usually clearing your cache and deleting the photobucket cookies and then refreshing the page where the image is does the trick and the new image shows up. Sometimes even if the image still showed up as the old version for you, it might show the new version for others, depending on how long ago they would have looked at the picture or if they'd have cleared their cookies. Otherwise it takes however long it takes for your browser to update its cookies. Sometimes it's a couple of days, sometimes it's a few hours, sometimes it's almost instant.
I don't know if the other image hosting services do this the same way, my experience is only with photobucket. It get's a bit irritating at times if I have uploaded a wrong version of an image, delete it and upload the new one (with the same name) I have to clear my cache, delete photobucket cookies, restart the browser and refresh the page to see the new image.

Thanks for the help you guys. I'm still a little confused, but I'll learn when I actually try it out.
