Oh dear! With the weather warming up, the aphids are starting to swarm. You'd better find the female before the males get to her, otherwise you'll have to deal with a lot of pesky bugs. She's hiding in one of the posts in this thread.

The Lair

Tucked away in a corner, hidden in a crumbling brick alley, is a strange shop. A small window reveals little, as most of it is covered in dirt. The door is equally mysterious, made of glass but covered in a strange sheen. An old-fashioned, weathered wooden sign hangs from a rusty wire; you can barely make out the words "The Lair", scrawled in green paint. A bell tinkers as you enter the shop, curious as to what lay within.

There's no one there, just a few cages containing creatures wreathed in shadows, some pots, and other miscellaneous items. On the counter is a small card with some writing on it, in green ink.



I still haven't gotten to making a cat picture, okay? I suck at felines! I'll get to it one day! But there's your damned cat. It's a cat! And is there! Is that not enough?

Shrive-Weeds

The plant has grown into a large, beautiful flower with flesh-colored petals and dull orange pistils and stamen. A wonderful smell drifts towards you, bidding you to inspect the plant further. You do so, admiring the slickness of the atypical inner growths and the velvety appearance of the petals. The scent is almost intoxicating now, but as you get ever closer to the knob that seemed to the source, you notice something strange. Menacing black teeth line the petals, and as you reach towards the plant, its orange tendrils twitch. You decide to not venture near, but the sweetness draws you closer. Surely it'll be okay... it's just a plant, it won't bite.
