This is not specifically directed at anyone here, and for the most part you have behaved with decorum and respect, but unfortunately the breeding projects are being used as an excuse for excess elsewhere.

I've started an Arkenian Kitsune Group Lineage Project (duh, the subject says that). If you wish to join, please read the information below. Help us spread the word!
Goal
Create at least an even, non-inbred, purebred (minimum) 10 generation (children of SB parents are 1st gen) lineage of Arkenian Kitsunes.
In order for this to work, we need a minimum of 256 SB males and 256 SB females. I already did all the math and if luck is on our side, all the kits will gender correctly. lol. I know there are already some 3rd or maybe even 5th generation A.Kitsunes out there.
Getting Involved
Make a post in this thread with your A.Kitsune(s) you wish to enter to join - all entries will be approved by myself. In order to qualify, your A.Kitsune(s) must have not been bred before; name does not matter - if there are duplicate names or many "unnamed", we will use the creature code. Once your qualifying A.Kitsune has successfully bred an egg and hatched to the correct gender, you may choose to do whatever you'd like with your A.Kitsune as it will no longer qualify for the project.
How It Works/Rules
1) Everyone involved in this project will list their qualifying A.Kitsune(s) using the form:

2) If you don't have a breeding pair of the generation we're working on, make a post requesting the other gender you need. This will be coordinated through the trading system - see 2a, 2b, 2c for more detailed information.
2a) A deposit of will be required if you only have one A.Kit and need someone else to help you make a pair. The two parties will decide on who will take the opposite gender and a deposit amount - the party who isn't egglocked (if applicable) will automatically be given preference to borrow the other A.Kit. The person lending the A.Kit will receive the refundable deposit in GC (minimum 3000GC) while the person borrowing will receive the opposite gendered A.Kit.
2b) Once an egg has been successfully produced, the borrowed A.Kit must be returned to the original owner and the deposit the lender received must be returned to the borrower of the A.Kit unless other arrangements have been made by both parties (these arrangements must be announced in this project thread).
2c) Currently, the 2 parties have the option to allow me, the project leader, to borrow both A.Kits in order to breed an egg of the correct gender. Once completed, I will return the parents to their rightful owners. I will, of course, give deposits (minimum 3000GC) to both owners to have it refunded to me when an egg (of the correct gender) has been bred. I have requested allowance of an additional account to be created for the purpose of this project.
3) If and when the project account has been approved, we will start the project. All 2nd generation kits and forward will be "donated" to the project account to track our progress. This serves a dual purpose -- a) a neutral account to ensure no one sells the kits resulting from this project once hatched and 2) stated earlier, to track the progress of this project.
4) All participants will make every effort possible to help the kits involved in this project to hatch and mature as adults. All kits resulting from this project will be linked in this project.
5) Prior to an adult kit(s) successfully producing a hatchling of the correct gender to be used for this project, it may not be sold, bred nor traded - no exceptions! Once a hatchling that qualifies to be used in this project is produced, the owner is free to do whatever they wish, as an adult cannot show up twice in the lineage. We want complete out-crosses.
5a) The qualifying kits produced for this project are also not to be sold, inappropriately bred nor traded - no exceptions to this either! If a kit does not gender correctly, then it can be sold/traded/gifted. Refer back to Rule 3 for details of how these kits will be dealt with.
6) Any violations of the above rules will result in the kit(s), violating owner(s) and A.Kit(s) being disqualified and banned from future involvement of this project.
Lineage Tracking
I will post a public Google spreadsheet for all to see and track the lineage of this project. Currently, I will be the only one who will be able to edit the spreadsheet. As the project grows, everyone involved will nominate project moderators.
I will also attempt to keep track of all the owners involved in this project.
Keolah is keeping track of the A.Kit lineages. PM her if you need help with pairings -- I do this probably too often.

I've listed both Hjordis and Mosaku in the spreadsheet as well as the list of breeding pairs. Once my F1 male, Arkane's Alaric, grows up I'll see if we can coordinate a breeding between him and Anti's female, Ekra. From there, we should be able to get an F3 out of them if they gender correctly. lol.
