Being the major fan of both hawks and wolves, I have decided to mix them into one awesome-tasric creature. xD (In my opinion, anyways.)
GENERAL: WolfGyphons are large and magestic creatures, often living alongside with direwolves and other members of the gryphon family. With a swift hawk upper body, and a powerfull wolf lower body, these creatures have the capabilities of the silent swiftness of a direwolf in the forest, and the flight of a gryphon. These beasts make wondefull companions when travelling through cooler climates, and can hunt and catch large amounts of prey for itself.
EGG: This egg seems like a normal direwolf egg, but the colors are inverted and there's wings coming out...
HATCHLING: This little pup has been full of energy ever since it hatched. It seems to be having play contests with the direwolf pups to see who can catch the most mice. Once the gryphon begins to tire out, it smoothly walks up to you and you stroke it's soft downy head, and your hand makes it's way down to the plushy puppy fur. You smile as it falls asleep before you, and you tuck a blanket underneath it, carefull not to wake it.
ADULT: Your fluffy wolfgryphon pup has grown into a large, magestic beast. It's eyes seem to look into your very soul as it makes it's way twoards you, but then it turns into a soft and gentle expression as it nuzzles you in request of being petted. You want to ride it, but as you try and mount it, it utters a strange, low-pitched screetch. You decide that the wolf part of this creature doesn't like being ridden, so you stroke its smooth beak and it accepts your sort of apology.
I'm not very much of a writer, but I'd like to show you these:
I think drawing is my kind of art. xD Anyways, these are what they would generally look like. Also, I was too lazy to set a transparency. -.- They're not going to be the actual sprites anyway (if i win), though, so oh well. I hope you guys like my entry! Also, I give full credit to the magistream team for the egg design and bits and pieces of my descriptions. Also, I'm still pretty bad at shading.
