~Welcome to the Stream~
A new batch of magi were coming, and the magi of the Keep were excited to greet and welcome them. The magi of the Keep are friendly and hospitable and always do their beat to help new arrivals and make them feel at home. The new magi were all different. They were coming from different backgrounds, families, history, and have different skills and abilities. Most of them are teens or in their early adulthood, yet there were also some who are older and younger. Among this batch of Spring arrival was George Xu. George was a water mage coming from afar, a Water Kingdom in the Southeast. He heard a lot about the Keep and its wonderful culture, history, and even legends, and was excited to go and learn new magic techniques. He came with a small blue backpack and a small trunk, and his pegasus companion. Upon reaching the gates, the newbies were warmly welcomed by the inhabitants and the Archmage Thane. He made an introductory speech and a brief description, history, and way of life of the Keep. Then, each of the newcomer were to tell a brief introduction of themselves, sometimes telling of how they learned about the Keep or why they went to the Keep. After that, they were led by volunteers to their respective rooms in the castle. George was led to a room on the second floor. His room was lovely. It has an underwater theme. Beautiful shells adorn the walls. A capiz shell lamp stand on the bedside table. George liked how the walls were the colour of lavender and the whole room gave off a faint calming green glow. Aside from the shells, there were also sea vines creeping up the wall from the floor and also down from the ceiling. His room was cool and despite the windows were shut, there was a soft breeze blowing. George quickly unpacked and arranged his things. He looked out the window and saw the sun was just setting. He wondered what kind of food they have here. He sat on his bed and just rest. A few moments, a knock was heard. He opened the door. It was a fellow mage, a female that came with him. She admired the decorations of his room before simply telling him that dinner is ready. Then she formed a ball made of air, balanced on top of it, and cheerfully rode off.
Dinner was amazing. There was a lot of talking especially in the newbie table. An array of various dishes lay on a long table. The food is simply delicious. And the desserts too! They all look lovely that George was tempted to place a Preserving Charm on all of them and just keep them for decorations instead of eating them. Luckily for him that nobody seem to want more and there are a lot of them. This enabled him to get two of each kind; one would be for eating, the other would be for decoration.
After dinner, the newbies were showing off their magic. There was some competition- friendly ones of course. However, most of them were new to their magic, and so most end up disastrously. They would make fun of themselves and their mess, leading to the whole group laughing with them. After that, they went to explore the other parts of the castle. It was an exhausting day, and so, the newcomers went to bed early.

Re: Tales of the Stream: Tales of George Xu
The next day, George woke up early. It was still dark outside. He changed to his robes and went down the hallway. He went out and proceeded to the Stream. He sat by the riverside. The grass felt soft. George looked beyond the trees where there is already slight light. He saw a woman mage nearby. He was caught by surprise. She smiled and introduced herself as Mighty Oak. They talked for a while until the sun’s rays touched the grass with a soft golden light. By this time, they headed back to the Keep in time for breakfast.
That morning, the newcomers were introduced to their classes, and someone made an announcement that the newcomers proceed to the Stables. George saw that among those who led the students was Mighty Oak. He followed her line. She led them to a section of the Stables. She declared that she, along with some upperclassmen, decided to give the newbies creatures as starter gifts. The newbies were told to pick at most three creatures of their choice to be their companions. The students excitedly took their pick, one after another. Soon, it was George’s turn. He picked his three companions then headed for classes as the next student took his pick. Among George’s choice companion was a Lunar Hippogryph he named Moonlight Sonata, who later he became quite close to.

Many days passed and George was getting accustomed to the culture of the Keep. He enjoyed his classes, among of which History, Charms and Water Magic were his favourites. It was also around this time that he met Hikari Angelwings.Hikari was the one who helped him get into his tracks such as the way to classrooms. She told him about the different guilds maagi can go into. The Society of the Trident caught George’s attention and he asked her as how to join. Hikari said that she couldn’t help much as she is a light and air mage. She, however, helped him obtain creatures needed in joining the Society. She also directed him to Helen, a water mage and member of the said guild.
Moons passed and George gained more friends, among them are Amethysts, Eleadora, and Silvereil. He also gained enough gold in his savings to pay for the membership fee of Society of Trident. He looked at his creatures and gold for the requirement. He was ready. He notified Helen for the ceremony to commence.
