So far this is a work in progress, so please don't hate me! This is in the eyes of the ghost coon, if you've ever read the book "Where The Red Fern Grows." I usually post pieces that I would like to add, then if someone comments and says how I can improve it or if it is okay, then I'll add it to the piece above.
Comments and crit welcome!
Ghosts Can Die
I awoke. I smelled the crispiness of the air and I heard the trickling of the river. My silvery coat shown in the moonlight, making me a moon all by myself. The pain of arthritis stung as I clambered down from my perch in the tree. Tonight I should move to a new tree… I thought. I did this for safety reasons almost every other night.

How's this to add?
I sniffed the air as I got closer to the river. I smelled the distinct smell of the fish in the river. Licking my chops, I decided that it was time to eat. Suddenly another scent hit the back of my nose. I couldn’t quite distinguish it with the scent of fish on my nose, but I knew that it was too far away to do any harm right now. I finally made it to the river. Seeing silvery figures darting downstream through the river reminded me of my extreme hunger. As I watched one of the smaller fish upstream, heading downstream, I got ready to lash out.

~~~Good so far! Keep going!
Toasters fly
High in the sky.
Watch your head
They’ll knock ya’ dead.
Have some toast.
On the fly.
But beware the toasters.
They’re flying by. Credit to Havelock Click my Eggies and Hatchies here!
