Koshka I'Du Cats - OPEN - 7 Cats Available

Welcome to the Kennels. Here, we have the beautiful, strong, and intelligent species of cat called the Koshka I'Du, the Cat of the Ice. They are members of a genus of saber-toothed cats called Homotherium. Their species name is Homotherium magna. Magna because they are heavily built cats. They were originally bred in Russia to be used as sled pullers. They pulled the heaviest of sleds, one being able to pull on average 1000 pounds. They are not particularly fast, only averaging ten miles an hour. Nowadays, they are mostly used for show or freight pulling contests. Freight pulling contests (FPC) are when a sled is hooked up and more and more weight it added until the cat can pull it no more. Some people find it a cruel practice (in fact, my cats a will never be entered in FPC), since it can tire the cat out severely. FPC officials are trying to figure out ways in which to make the contests more humane.

Koshka I'Du usually have a mild temperament, but they can also be very shy or extremely violent. There is little sexual dimorphism in the species. However, sometimes males can have manes. They usually reach 4 feet at shoulder height. Weight is around 450 pounds.

Some Possible Features: These may not be added. It all depends on whether or not I'm allowed to (I'm currently awaiting feedback on it) add these. You might be able to put your cats up for stud for a price in gold. So you can gain some money by allowing your cat to breed with someone else's. But, half of the price must be sent to me, and then I will make the cubs.
You may also be able to sell your cats for gold, but again, half of the price will go to me.

I will not allow you to adopt a cat until you fill out the trainer form.
You will be able to come up with a personality and background, but please keep them realistic to the Koshka I'Du cats' nature.

Stats are gained by entering competitions. In FPCs, your cat will receive 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, or 600 stats each round. At the end of the rounds, whichever cat has the most wins.
In shows, your cat receives stats at the end of the show. These competitions are judged by looks and what skills and tricks your cat knows.

Breeding

To be able to breed your cats, you must have a breeding license. To have your cats breed with another's cats, both trainers must have a license. These are a bit costly, considering that afterwards you get free cubs when you breed a cat. However, prices may go down or up each month.

Freight Pulling Contests

The June 2014 FPC

Come one, come all to the first FPC! Any trainer and their cats are welcome! You must submit your entries by June 21 to be able to participate in the FPC. The competition starts on the 21st, and ends on the 28th (so there will be 8 rounds). After each round, your cat will gain some stats. The cat with the most stats at the end of the contest will win first prize.
You can only submit one cat to the FPC. Once you have decided that a cat will be in this competition, they cannot participate in the Show, since it happens on the same days.

Show off your favorite cat in the June 2014 Show! 8 cats can be submitted into this show. Each day, one cat will be eliminated by the judges, until there is only one left, the winner! The winner will gain some stats, and a prize.
