> You have chosen: girl.
You briefly look at your reflection in the mirror; your hair looks fine, but your hat is a little askew. You adjust it and fix the bow, give yourself a thumbs up, and then run out the door. You almost smack into the mailbox, but thankfully, you swerve about three centimeters away from impaling yourself.
As soon as you have avoided the danger of your mailbox, your friend's Marill runs right into you. Luckily the little thing's not too heavy, or you would have fallen over. As it is, you stay on your feet and pick the boisterous Pokemon up as it wriggles around. You hold it up in a vaguely Simba-esque position and frown at it a little, but put it down to wiggle a finger at it like a nagging aunt.
"Oh, sorry 'bout that!"
You hear your friend Gold calling, and you turn to see the black-haired hat-clad boy running over to you. His Marill dashes over to him. "Haha, he's been wound up all day," Gold says, one hand on the back of his neck. "Hey, what are you doing? Are you gonna get a Pokemon, Crystal?"
You nod at him and give an affirmative. "Whoa! That's great!" he exclaims, and scoops up his Marill. "Well, you'd better go! You know where the Lab is, right?" he asks teasingly.
No, you have no idea where the lab is. It's not like it's right next to your house, haha.
Just kidding, you do know where the lab is, and you tell Gold as much. He grins at you one more time and runs off again, leaving you to traipse over to the lab. When you're walking, though, you see a glimpse of red hair past the corner of the lab building. It's curious, so you walk over, and to your surprise you see an unfamiliar boy peeking in through the window!
Now, do you:
> Talk to him?
> Stay away?
(As you can see, we're going by the game storyline but the manga's names. It's a lot easier that way, and you don't have to stop and make up names with segments half as long as this!)
