So I decided to enter this contest because why not.

And yes, I realize the images are sideways. I apologize greatly for that. I don't know how to fix it.

Description:
These creatures are named for their two tails, which both end in mouth-like pincers. These tails, combined with a sharp beak and talons and a bad temper, make them quite dangerous in a fight. Snaptails tend to live alone, but if two meet, they'll most likely end up dueling. These fights are usually over territory or food, often ending up with one of them gaining a few new scars, which makes it rare to see a snaptail that doesn't have at least a few. Even with these qualities, they're still regarded as very beautiful creatures, with feathers in brown and white and soft, almost sad cries that several have tried to recreate in song.
