Family: A wife who died in childbirth, and a son who was killed in an accident involving a wild direwolf when he was twelve.
Appearance: Weylin is tall (6'3") and thin, not particularly muscled, and a bit lanky looking. His dark, shoulder-length hair and short, well-trimmed beard is beginning to turn grey at the edges, but he doesn't mind. He wears a necklace made with the feather of a Bleeding Heart Gryphon. The necklace was a gift he had given to his wife when they first met, but after her death he kept it as a reminder of her.
Personality: Many students see him only as a heartless, demanding professor of one of the most difficult classes offered at the Keep. But they simply do not make an attempt to know him, or they would find a shy, sometimes humorous man who has suffered great loss. That being said, he does his best to conceal his vulnerable side with a facade of cold indifference.
Backstory: Weylin grew up at the Keep, his father before him having also been a professor. When he was old enough and had finished his schooling, he took the few companions he had with him and moved to Arkene. There, he worked closely with a few other magi studying White Elk. After spending a few years there, he fell in love with a young lady named Ami, and within a year they were wed. After that, he moved back south, to the Keep, where he became a professor, taking the place of his father who was retiring that year. Only a few short years after they arrived, Ami discovered she was with child. It was a happy time in his life, until the time came for the baby to be born. It was a difficult birth, and ended in Ami's death, though their son survived. Weylin raised him to the best of his ability, but even the boy's own father could not protect him from the rabid direwolf that ended the boy's short life.
Where does you character want to be in 10 years?: Hopefully still teaching, since that's really the only purpose he has left in life now.
What creature does your character wish to have the most?: A tinsel wyrm. He observed a few of them during his time in Arkene, and was captivated by them.
Anything Else?: Weylin teaches introductory and advanced potion making classes, which are some of the most difficult classes offered, according to most students.

Appearance: Alexander stands tall at 6’0” and could be considered handsome with his sturdy build and often messy, short dark brown hair. Dark brown eyes match his sun kissed skin, and a friendly grin wins him many friends.
Personality: Friendly as a dog and often quite good at speaking. He's the type of guy who always tells jokes and volunteers to go first when no one else wants to. Has a hard time taking things seriously.
Backstory: Alexander grew up without a care in the world. His mother ran a successful trading company with contacts throughout the mainland and the island. His father helped escort caravans through the city and to whatever area they needed to get to, a tour guide in a sense. Alexander often spent his time either serving treats he made himself to his mother's customers, following his father around, or playing with his friends.
Where does you character want to be in 10 years?: He… has no idea what he'll do with his future. He'll go wherever the wind takes him.

Appearance: In contrast to her brother who takes after their father, Lily takes after their mother. She's petit at 5’1” and doesn’t look very strong at all, which is true though she has surprisingly good stamina. She has a light skin tone, hazel eyes, and often keeps her long light brown hair pulled back and tied with a ribbon. Her left leg is slightly deformed which is why she walk s with a limp and carries either a cane or crutch.
Personality: Lily is a very quiet and serious girl so many often mistake her as shy as well; however, that could only be farther from the truth. The girl is very confident, and friendly to everyone when she first meets them. She knows the value of making acquaintances with as many people as possible but prefers to keep her nose buried in a book when she can afford to.
Backstory: Lily's childhood was spent within her family's home since she had trouble walking long distances. She spent most of her time reading through the seemingly endless supply of books her mother provided her with. The rest of the time she spent talking to her mother's clients as they waited, she liked the Magi in particular since they had lots of tales to tell.

Appearance;Maelasi is fairly average height girl with boyish well built figure. She has olive skin with waves of thick black hair that reach down do her shoulders. Her eyes are very dark blue, spider webbed with cataracts that make her eyes look like the night sky. Her skin is largely smooth however she has a set of gash shaped scars going down the length of her arms and onto her back from a manticore attack that claimed her birth parents lives. Walks with a cane to guide her.
Personality;Maelasi is fiercely independent often refusing help despite her blindness. She rarely frustrated even when she can't do something, and she only accepts help from her family, though even that is rare. She is fairly extroverted. She's not afraid to pummel those who would make fun of her or especially her brother. Just as her brother is towards her, she is very protective of him. She almost never apologizes unless she truly believes she was wrong. She usually takes the hardest courses and pushes her brother to do the same.
Backstory;Maelasi was born in a village near the jungle of Raza. One night when she was a young girl a manticore found its way into her parents hut. The beast killed her parents and managed to claw her causing her to fall into her parents glass table which shattered and left her blind as many pieces of glass got into her eyes. As the manticore crouched ready to kill it was shot in the head with an arrow by the neighbors who had heard the cacophony and had rushed to assist. She was adopted by a pair of missionaries who where working in the village at the time and was taken back to Triathe and raised with her new younger brother Eleidon.

Family; Most of his family live in Triathe, however his sister Maelasi is a fellow student.
Appearance;Eleidon despite only being 15 is already taller then most of his fellow students and even some of the teachers. He is fairly slender with a decent build. He has an tan complexion with a mop of very light,almost white, blond hair. His eyes are a light yellowish gold/amber color. Though most of his skin is scar free his hands are somewhat callused from working with metal in his mothers jewelers shop.
Personality;Eleidon is a very quiet person, often keeping to himself. When talking to others he apologizes profusely over even the tiniest thing. The only time he becomes outspoken is when defending his sister or few friends, when speaking to those he knows, or when talking about what he's passionate about. He often becomes flustered when speaking to new people, so he usually tries to do things without others noticing. Despite his sister's independence he constantly attempts to help he much to her annoyance. He loves weaving and is fairly skilled at making and modifying clothing.
Backstory;Eleidon was born to a his parents, a pair of jewelers who love working as missionaries. When he was three his mother and father brought home his adoptive sister from a missionary trip. He grew up wishing to become an enchanter so that he might make powerful objects to help others.

Jaxton is more of an "in-the-moment" type of person, but she really hopes to become a great keeper that goes on many adventures, and her biggest wish is to discover a new species.

Honestly, Jaxton is just happy to be at the school! (I was hoping she could have an Avrael, though!)
