I love them both. I have three cats and a dog and I couldn't see myself without either of them! Only one dog because dogs are a bit different than cats and more would be a little hard to take care of at the present time, but I wouldn't 'mind' having 3 of them either!

Cats. 
They're comfortably quiet and don't require going on walks, which is really convenient to me. Also I love the sound of purring.

I have a cat and she is the best thing ever. She is so cute when you play with her, and her purr is so loud it sounds like an engine! I could not imagine my life with out a cat.
But...
I have always wanted a dog, and I love to pet the dogs that walk around in my neighborhood. The way they act just makes sense to me. I love to listen to the howl. They are also desendent from the wolf, my favorite animal.
Therefor I picked both because I could never choose, and I really love them both. Very fun survey
