Thunderbird X Pegasi = Storm Hippogryph
Images to come soon.
Egg:
Storm clouds hover over this egg.
Hatchling:
The hatchling stumbles around, trying to play with anything that approaches. Most creatures shy away from it, often getting a nasty shock or cold chill from its ill controlled powers. It loves to play in thunderstorms that send other creatures scurrying for cover. Occasionally, perfectly sunny days will turn stormy the more excited the hatchling gets.
Adult:
The awkward hatchling has grown into a magnificent beast. Large enough to carry you if you can avoid being shocked. It's affinity for thunderstorms has not diminished, though the frequency of them popping up out of nowhere has. Adult Storm Hippogryphs are adept at creating storms, and often use this power to the benefit of their Magi. Whether it is to create a light shower for watering crops, or huge thunderstorms to help defeat an enemy.
Adult Storm Hippogryphs are powerful beasts indeed. Able to summon thunderstorms at will. This power is often used to the benefit of their Magi, as the intensity of the storms summoned are more controllable the older the Hippogryph gets. They can also be very destructive, and have been used to decimate whole armies when enough Storm Hippogryphs use their power simultaneously.
Just in case I don't get the pics done by the fifth:
The egg is a standard egg shape, with storm clouds hanging over it and sparks of lightning shooting out of it.
The hatchling is basically a standard hippogryph hatchling, but with sparks around it.
The adult is well, a hippogryph, with lightning around it.
Pics:
Please forgive my simple sketches. I'm not up to doing more details, but you get the general idea from them. That, and I suck at color choices
