Introducing: The Phoenix Agaori!
Obtained by breeding a Silsia, Gamilara, or Cardinal Phoenix with any species of Agaori
General:
Spoiler
When an Agaori bird gets exceedingly close with one of the smaller species of phoenix, a pair of Phoenix Agaori may come into existence. These birds love to live in climates of intense heat, often times migrating to the vast expanses of Etain or the volcanic barrens of Voltar. Of course, when bonded with a magi these birds prefer to stay with their masters, and a decent number of them exist at the castle. These birds are just as social as regular Agaori, and their flames begin to dim when they are separated from their mates. Their emotional abilities are not as potent as their Agaori brethren, however they make up for this with semi-extensive mastery of fire magic. Feeling the warmth of a Phoenix Agaori's flame is said to bring any two beings, even the most bitter rivals, together in harmony.
Spoiler
These two fiery eggs get cooler when separated.
Spoiler
Like regular Agaori, these birds are born in pairs. They have a similar curious nature to that of other Agaori hatchlings with the added "bonus" of them spreading small fires wherever they go. They can often be seen quickly flitting around the castle, a bewildered Magi following close behind being careful to put the fires they start out. These birds are always willing to play with anyone they encounter, especially adult phoenixes.
Spoiler
Phoenix Agaori travel in smaller groups than regular Agaori birds, migrating in groups of around fifty. Though they are less social than normal Agaori birds, they still prefer to be around company, their flames becoming dimmer when separated from others of their kind. Male Phoenix Agaori are marked with fiery-red crests on their foreheads, and females have cream-coloured bellies. These birds, when not with others of their own kind, like to hang around regular Phoenixes, with tens of them sometimes sitting at the feet of any given adult phoenix. Some Phoenix Agaori live at the castle year-round, however most migrate to hotter areas during the winter months. These birds do not have as potent emotional manipulation as regular Agaori, nor can they mimic human speech as well as normal Agaori, however these abilities are replaced with potent fire magic similar to those of common phoenixes. Magi who bond with Phoenix Agaori are often warm-spirited and agreeable.
