Per the rules of the forum, posts here have to be about art. This is, in fact, a thread about art, specifically, showing off and or discussing yours, mine, and anybody else who wants to drop in.
Side (but relevant to the art at hand) commentary appreciated, as long as we're not turning into a general chat thread.
SO, me...
I made my account long ago, before I was an artist. Now I am one, and what do I draw? Stuff that looks like it came from Magistream, honestly.
Lately I've been getting back into Copics. Here's this weekend's work!
Still trying to decide what color its eyes should be...
Also a WIP with some other doodles. I'm currently using Tumblr to host, so the resizing is a little weird... Would not recommend to others.

I really like your lineart, it's so clean and smooth. Great job! It's nice to see someone drawing traditionally, and I envy you copics a bit They're amazing, but sadly a little expensive. Keep going with your art.
I click almost everything I see
Re: Bennie's friendly art and chat thread
Aww, thank you!
Yeah, it took a lot of practice to get it like that... I used to do very broken lines. Thicker pens have helped me get around it.
I'm so lucky I have a lot of family and friends - one year I just went, I WANT COPICS FOR MY BIRTHDAY and now here I am, with way more copics than money or sense.
Honestly, I get a lot more mileage out of a set of grayscale prismacolor markers I got as a hand-me-down. The bullet tips are fine for small details, and I think they retail at like half the price of a Copic Sketch?

I love your art, it's so nice! I have yet to achieve a copic color layer that smooth, admittedly. I'm a bit too used to digital art so I'm not very patient. But that just makes me like your art more everytime I look at it!
