This is a poem I wrote four years ago, figured I'd shed some light on it again. It's called "Wingless Bird".
A bird with no wings
Unable to fly
I could show what I'm made of
If the world would let me try
I will find a way
Without the ability of flight
To shock the world
And give it new sight
I may lack wings
But my legs are strong
Shaped from sharp crooked brambles
They still carry me along
I may not be beautiful
And without wings I'm "lame"
But I know there's someone out there
Who loves me just the same
Do not mistake me
I am not fragile nor weak
I hope my story can touch hearts
And they believe the words I speak
A Little Poem
