I see monochrome not because I can't see in color,
But because I'm scared of change
Senses overwhelmed I can't do anything but quake in the darkness behind my eyelids.
That thin layer of flesh somehow creates a world warm and impenetrable
A world where you can quake and shiver and scream and cry and then.
.
.
You realize you've been sucked
back to reality, your mask back
in place, and if you take it off
the inky tar in your heart will leak
leaving your beating heart...
unarmoured, naked, beating fast
Poem for those who wish to read..
