The moon cult had been around since the first band of witches came together, literally. We were the first cult, so the first born witch in the current leaders family was the next leader, so far we are purely descendant from the first leader. I, Luna was the first born witch in the family i have an older brother, Jack, but he wasn't born with the witch mark. Even if he masters magic he will not be leader i will. He doesn't like me too good, he says i ruined his chances as a happy family. Our dad left when i was born, when I was born on my left eye was the witch mark, also me being born weakened moms magic and the covering spell of her mark ended. Mom never blamed me, she says it would have happened sooner or later.
It's not these events that bother me,but these events that of which is now.
Im 15 not yet of age where my mom steps down,when im 18 is when my mom said she'd step down,she could step down and give power to me or if she dies before im 18 i get leadership.something that troubleded us both is witches had been falling ill with no known cure potion,spell,herbs,or medication.its was only witches thought. Guards had been placed around me and my mom . even when i was at school, 2 guards took potions to become temporary kids and go to school with me. Even with all of these precautions mom fell ill, and bedridden. Then what i dreaded so long happened i was crowned leader and for the rest of my years at school was at home
On my coronation day a man had appeared , when he approached guards stood in front of me, he stopped and bowed. He raised and said
“Lovely luna is your mother doing any better”
as he started speaking i realized who he was i glared
“ i don't suppose you came to chit chat what do you want”
“ you caught me ,i came to make a deal”
“What's the deal”
“ the cure to this plague ,in exchange you'll give my son your hand in marriage”
“Hmm? How do i know it really works?”
“Well choose 1 person any person “
“Bring her “ i ordered and they wheeled out my mom
“Her i choose her” i barked
He gave her the potion and she instantly started looking better
“Bring my son,”i said
His son came forward
“YOU’RE A WITCH” we both yelled at the same time
