Is there any way to unfreeze an egg?

I froze an egg so it wouldn't mature because I needed it for a quest, but I went on the wiki and it said that you needed to not freeze the egg to submit it.

Unfortunately, no. Once an egg is frozen, it's frozen for good. Master Belmos is the only one with the ability to unfreeze eggs, but you cannot send them to him to unfreeze and send back to you. Once you send a frozen egg or hatchling to Master Belmos, it belongs to him. He'll unfreeze it and put it up for sale in his part of the Merchant District.
