It seeks human companionship during the daytime, acting like a simple cat, happy to receive pets and scratches behind its ears, and its behavior changes entirely once the sun sets, turning wild and energetic, eager to explore. People believe the parasitic mushroom has more control over the cat at night than during daytime, but more study is needed before such a conclusion can be reached.
